Othello's quiet and humble charm is especially endearing.  He looks to people with bright eyes and hope, longing for acceptance.  Othello is a Miniature Schnauzer, 3 years young and neutered, good with other dogs, fine with older kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  He needed us when his previous owners moved away without him.

Jazz , a young boy with the innocence of a puppy, is radiant and full of adoration for those he trusts.  He is an incredibly cute German Shepherd mix, 1 year of age and neutered, housetrained & crate-trained, and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Jazz loves to play fetch and he may be compatible with other large dogs, if fed meals and treats separately. He needed us when his previous owners moved into a condominium.  An active lifestyle routine is ideal for Jazz .

Keegan ("small flame") is a 4-pound youngster with enormous loving potential.    He is a Longhair Chihuahua & Yorkshire Terrier mix, neutered boy, 1 year of age, good with dogs, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Keegan was at another shelter that asked for our help. He reportedly came from a dreadful home where he was crated in solitary for up to 15 hours daily. Understandably, he fears crates and cries when he sees them.    Worse, he is head-shy and can get nippy when he thinks people are going to hit him. A gentle home with kind guidance and a very steady lifestyle routine will do wonders for him. We also believe Keegan may adjust best with a big sister or brother dog for comfort and companionship. Please help find a hero for this tiny boy.

Nathaniel is an amiable youngster with irresistible charm and grace. He is a petite Toy mix with cute eyes and a handsome mane, 2 years young, good with dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. At the time of rescue Nathaniel was found abandoned and severely injured. His hip was broken from massive trauma (the cause of the trauma is unknown). After 6 weeks of healing, he has improved well and begun using his leg again. Please help find him a gentle home where he will never again experience massive trauma or violence.

Abby would love to be a little sister to a friendly dog who can help guide her toward more confidence and self-esteem.  She is a luminous young girl with tremendous loving potential. Abby is a medium-size Heinz 57 (blend of many breeds), 1 year of age, spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Abby needed us when her previous owners moved away without her.

Gina's frowns and worry have been replaced with the brightest smiles and tons of hope. She's excited for her fresh start! Gina , 10, a Chihuahua mix, spayed girl, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. She is great with other dogs. Renegade is a radiant young boy overflowing with hope.   He is terrific with other dogs too and enjoys their companionship.  Renegade is a medium-size blend of many breeds, including Mini Bully, 1 year of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Renegade from another shelter that asked for our help due to running out of space.  Please come meet this fun-loving boy!

Donovan , a junior puppy who survived a dreadful and loveless home, now looks at everything new in the world with awe and wonder. His loving potential is enormous! Donovan is a Corgi mix, 9 months of age, neutered boy, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    An experienced owner can help him build confidence. Donovan was denied socialization and attention, so he is very worried about strangers and their intentions.    He has bonded well with the dogs here and may do best in a home with a big sister or brother dog.

Hamilton loves giving doggie kisses. He is a Yorkshire Terrier & Toy mix, 6 years of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Bright Eyes is attracted to others with jolly spirits and she loves sharing her smiles.  She is young-at-heart at 10 years of age, a spayed girl, Labrador Retriever mix, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We believe Bright Eyes has the temperament to be great with kids.  We rescued her from another shelter that ceased its adoption program.

Johnny needed us when his previous owner passed away and he had nowhere to go.  He loves being in your lap and being held in your arms.  Johnny is a very attractive and kind orange tabby & white shorthair with bright eyes, about 5 years of age, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Johnny loves other cats too and will snuggle with them during his afternoon catnaps.
