Monica , a playful puppy, 6 months of age, loves bonding with kids, adults, and dogs.  She is an adorable blend of many breeds, including Shepherd, expected to grow to large size, and she is now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Monica needed us when her previous owners moved away without her.  Please visit and ask for her by name.

Donnie , 7 months of age, loves bonding and playing with people and dogs. He is a big, lovable, comical junior puppy, a Bully mix, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Donnie has captivating blue-hazel eyes (central heterochromia) and he is on his way to growing to a large size.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety.

Leon , a youngster so grateful for kindness and care, is changing the way he views and understands people. Weeks ago Leon was found frightened in a family's garage, ill and neglected, trying to find shelter. Since then he has recovered well. We have Leon on a premium meal plan and shaved away all of his knots and tangles. He is bonding here well with people and dogs. Leon is now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. He is a Lhasa Apso & Maltese mix, 2 years of age, and eager to have someone to love unconditionally.

Hannah is a zany-fun baby girl and she is great with kids and dogs. She loves running and playing, learning all the time, and bonding with everyone around her. Hannah is reportedly a Boxer and American Bulldog mix. She is 5 months of age, spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Hannah needed us due to her previous owner's financial hardship.

Trooper , 12, a gentle soul, enjoys bonding with adults, kids, cats, and dogs.  He is a super cute Longhair Chihuahua, housetrained, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Trooper is blind in his right eye (old injury).  He needed us when his previous owner began a nomadic lifestyle.

This beautiful young lady has made a tremendous recovery the past few months and she now looks and feels like a million dollars. But scars on her ear tips will always bear witness to the extreme neglect she suffered from in a local backyard, fighting for survival without proper food or water with numerous other rabbits. Hester is a Mini Rex with a luxurious blue-grey coat. She is now spayed, just under 2 years of age, and ready for adoption today. Hester is shy with new people, but warm-hearted with those she trusts. We believe she will make a very nice bonding companion to a neutered male bunny. Hester is one of almost 70 rescued, spayed/neutered rabbits for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Please ask for her by name.

Update: Jill was adopted on February 15th! Jill is a darling little beauty who yearns to bond with another person and another dog. Her soul-mate, Jack, died due to complications from diabetes and we are monitoring her carefully for depression and working on finding dogs she enjoys kenneling with until she is adopted. Jill debuts for adoption today. She is a petite Miniature Pinscher, spayed female, about 4 years of age. Besides loving other dogs, she is reportedly housetrained and compatible with kind, mature children. Jill needed us because her previous owner lost the family home to foreclosure.

Update: Malibu was adopted on October 10th! Malibu is a darling, fun-loving, and very endearing young girl. She is a Terrier & Poodle mix, spayed, and about 18 months of age. Malibu is compatible with other sweet dogs and may do best in a home with another dog to bond with and keep her company. She is reportedly "mostly" housetrained and good with kind, mature children. Please plan on regular grooming and brushing for Malibu . At the time of rescue she was matted and filthy after being abandoned by her owner. She must never be neglected again, either physically or emotionally. Please come meet this beautiful doll today at Nevada SPCA.

Update: Lucille was adopted on September 8th! Gentle. Adorable. Sweet. Friendly. Social. Lucille is a young lovebug with an outgoing nature. She is an American guinea pig, about 18 months of age. Lucille has very striking chocolate and white coloring and her eyes are quite expressive. Lucille would love to have a sister. If you have a female guinea pig who needs a lifelong companion, please visit Lucille and we can arrange a meeting between the two to ensure they are compatible. Please remember the many domesticated species besides cats and dogs who become homeless and need rescue. At Nevada SPCA we generally have at least 15 species of domesticated companion animals in need of new, loving homes.
