Suzette's story is heartbreaking. She survived and all of her babies are alive too, so now our focus is on finding her a very gentle hero to shower her with benevolence. Suzette is a young Italian Greyhound & Chihuahua mix, 2 years of age, good with other dogs, and now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . *** Caution to sensitive readers *** At the time of rescue Suzette had been abused. (Our efforts to track down her abusers were not successful.) The horror of the betrayal of her innocence was even worse because she was pregnant. We worried Suzette may lose some or all of her babies. We placed her in a loving, nurturing foster home. She birthed her babies there and all were alive and healthy.
