Annie

Image
You can see so much hope and kindness in Annie's eyes.  This beautiful girl is blooming and now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. We rescued Annie from another shelter.  She was terrified and wanted nothing to do with people.  But thanks to exceptional foster care, Annie is now housetrained & crate-trained, good with dogs of all sizes, playing fetch and enjoying belly rubs, and realizing that people are capable of incredible kindness.  Annie is a medium-size Heinz 57, likely with Bully or Rottweiler, 3 years young and spayed.  Please help find her a wonderful home where she continues to improve and reach her full loving potential.

Look how far Hugo has come!

We're so proud of Hugo and happy to see him holding his head up with confidence as he visits Pet'ographique for brand new portraits to help celebrate his progress overcoming fear and abuse.  We cannot applaud enough the dedicated volunteers who are working with rescued animals like Hugo to prove to them that humans can be kind and worthy of trust.  Hugo looks like a tiny, short-legged deer.  He is a Chihuahua, almost 4 years of age, neutered, good with other dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Shelby's progress -- an update about his loving, forever home!

Joyce and her daughter, Leslie, are happy to share the news about Shelby's tremendous progress in his forever home!  You may remember Shelby , a longtime and very beloved resident at Nevada SPCA, working to overcome lingering memories of abuse.  The first two pictures are of Shelby at Nevada SPCA.  His sister is Ginger, a Chow Chow, and they love going for car rides and plead for stops at fast food windows.  Shelby's daily morning routine includes long trail walks and swimming in the river.  Shelby's joy is a testament to the can-do attitude of his new family and the countless hours of dedication from volunteers helping him believe in people again.
