Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Sally is beginning to become hopeful and more interested in bonding with people who are kind to her. This young girl survived a traumatic ordeal. Her leg reportedly got trapped in a pet taxi. In the chaos and pain, she bit the person who was helping free her leg, resulting in a 10-day quarantine for her unintentional bite. Sally is now at Nevada SPCA and ready to love someone dearly for life. She is a lovely Toy & Longhair Chihuahua mix, 1 year of age and spayed, and good with other sweet dogs.    Sally is shy and best suited for a peaceful home environment please.

Goldie has recovered her will to live and now looks with longing at gentle people with hope that they will accept her lifelong devotion.    Goldie is a blond Chihuahua & Toy mix, 5 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Goldie was an emergency rescue from another shelter. She had crashed into depression and stopped eating and drinking. She was perilously dehydrated when we arrived and we rushed her to an animal hospital for IV fluids.    When released from the hospital we paired her up with a canine friend for companionship and her appetite has been steady since.

Margarite , 9, recovering well from severe neglect, is hopeful to love someone who will treasure her and appreciate her unconditional devotion.  Margarite is a Terrier & Toy mix, good with other dogs, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Once she trusts a person, she likes giving him or her doggie kisses.  At the time of rescue Margarite was on the streets and suffering from long-term neglect.

Buggy's broken heart is mending and he's beginning to become hopeful again. (His previous owner went into hospice.)  Buggy is a Longhair Dachshund mix with a very sweet and humble disposition.  He is neutered, good with dogs and mature kids, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Lacey is beginning to hold her head high and walk up to people without flinching.  She is thriving and improving quicker than expected and relishing the kindness of the volunteers and staff who care for her.  Lacey is a Toy Poodle mix, 4 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She was found abandoned and in poor condition at the time of rescue, with her spirit muted by neglect and/or abuse.  Please visit and ask for Lacey by name.

Marguerite , 10, is emerging from deep sorrow, becoming hopeful, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is a Labrador Retriever mix, fine with cats, and now spayed.  Margeurite needed us when her previous owners divorced and she cannot understand what has happened.  She doesn't like other dogs and needs a one-dog household.  Please help find a hero for Marguerite .
