Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Keesha , a young girl with a heart of gold, smiles when she feels safe and secure.  She is a beautiful spirit, a Siberian Husky & Shepherd mix with gold & hickory coloring, 3 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs (but small dogs unknown), and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Keesha was at another shelter that asked for our help due to her trembling in fear. We matched her with a confident kennel-mate, a friend, and she promptly felt more at ease.

Billie Jean , still a baby herself at 11 months of age, was found homeless on the streets with her four kittens.    She raised her children in a comfortable, loving foster home. ( Billie Jean's babies will be ready for adoption in the weeks to come.) Billie Jean is a social girl and greets you at the door upon your return home.    She is great with other cats.    Billie Jean is a gorgeous shorthair with saucer-like golden eyes, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .

Meilani , a graceful 3-legged sweetheart, was discovered in an abandoned apartment without water, food, or air-conditioning.  She is compatible with cats and dogs.  Meilani runs, jumps, and plays with her toys like she is still a kitten.  She is a beautiful spirit, a torbie tabby, 5 years of age and spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  (The cause of her missing front right leg is unknown.)

Florence , 10, loves to swim and splash in wading pools and lakes.  She is a beautiful, gentle spirit, a Saint Bernard, housetrained & crate-trained, good with dogs and kids, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Florence loves apple slices and veggies for her treats.  She was surrendered by her previous owner who cited the small size of her backyard as the reason.  Please visit in person and ask for Florence by name.

Molly is a junior puppy with a beautiful spirit and she beams with good cheer for every person and animal she meets.  She is housetrained and compatible with cats, dogs, and kids.  Molly is a medium-size Heinz 57 with Shepherd and stunning tiger-brindle coloration, about 8 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Prancer , a beautiful spirit, thrives with order, stability, and routine.  She is a 90-pound Great Dane, 6 years of age and spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Prancer asks for a quiet and calm lifestyle. Strangers make her nervous and she is not compatible with dogs or other animals.  She prances with glee when you take her for a walk.  Please share her pictures to help find her a lifelong hero.

Felicity is a beautiful young girl who tries to understand the meaning of your words and the reasons for your actions.  She is a seal point Siamese with crystal-blue eyes, 1 year of age and spayed, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Felicity is especially happy to be resting in your lap while you brush her.  Tell her about your day and she will begin purring.

Cinderella wants to know what being the center of attention feels like.  She is a beautiful spirit, a tiger tabby, 2 years young and spayed, fine with other cats, and awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Cinderella was deceptively abandoned by her previous owner.  Like the fictional Cinderella , she certainly deserves so much better.  Please visit and ask for her by name.

Xena , a beautiful spirit, adores people who are kind to her.    She is a medium-size Heinz 57 with Retriever & Pointer, 5 years of age and spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Xena needs a very experienced home please. A previous owner reportedly conducted discipline with anger and physical force.    We believe kind guidance is the only proper form of discipline, so please be extraordinarily patient and understanding when it comes to any behavior correction with her.

Daisy politely requests your consideration to accept her unconditional devotion in exchange for a stable, loving forever home.  She is a beautiful, bashful blend of Corgi & Pomeranian, 6 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs, housetrained, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Daisy needed us because of her previous owner's severe illness.  Please visit and ask for Daisy by name.

Chantilly was in labor and unable to birth her babies at the time of rescue. We rushed her to an emergency animal hospital for a c-section and veterinarians succeeded in saving the lives of Chantilly and her babies. She raised her kittens in a loving, nurturing foster home. Her foster family reports that she is exceptionally affectionate with people and cats, even giving other cats gentle head-butts to welcome them into her presence. Chantilly is a beautiful spirit, a shorthair tabby with jewel eyes, 2 years young, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .

Sky loves meeting people and asking for gentle chin scratches.  She is a beautiful spirit wearing a natural tuxedo, 5 years of age and spayed, good with other cats, previously declawed (front paws), and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Sky needed us when her previous owners moved away without her.  Please visit and ask for her by name.

Heather is awakening to the reality that people can adore her, praise her, and want to be with her. And it's making her heart sing!  Rescued from a loveless home, never allowed indoors, she was giving up on people.  Heather is a beautiful spirit, a Queensland Heeler mix (under 40 pounds), 1 year young, spayed girl, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Melody loves people-watching. We often find her comfortably perched on ledges so she can easily watch everyone.  When people aren't around, she moves to the windows and looks for birds and other visitors.  Melody is a beautiful soul, a medium-hair tortoiseshell, 6 years of age and spayed, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .

Leia , a golden-hearted young girl, needs someone to love.  She is a medium-size and beautiful blend of many breeds, 2 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Leia was found tied to a tree and abandoned.  She deserves someone who will treasure her dearly.

Esther , a spunky junior kitten with a beautiful spirit, needs a forever home please.  She is a lynx point Siamese with crystal blue eyes, 6 months of age, good with other cats, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Esther enjoys climbing cat towers, chasing toys, and exploring new rooms.  She was rescued from the streets with no sign of responsible ownership.

Cammie explores empty boxes and new toys with glee.    She is a petite young girl and still very kitten-like with enthusiasm and curiosity.    Cammie is a beautiful shorthair, great with other cats, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Cammie was rescued with her babies earlier this year. We placed mom and kittens in a foster home so she could raise and socialize them in the peace of a home environment. (Her babies have since been spayed/neutered and adopted.)

Cassie treasures the quiet and gentle moments with you. She is a beautiful spirit, a Siamese mix, 1 year of age, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . You may remember seeing Cassie earlier this year after she and her babies were rescued. Fern , a young girl with a beautiful spirit, asks for a loving forever home. One of her favorite things is playing hide & seek under blankets with people and cats.
