Emerald

Image
Emerald begins to beam with hope. She's no longer hanging her head in despair.    She doesn't understand leashes, so we're carrying her from room to room, but she wants to learn. Emerald is a sensitive girl ready to bloom in a loving, forever home where she will be showered with reassurance and kind guidance.    She is a medium-size (42 pounds) Retriever mix, 5 years of age, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .    Emerald was at another shelter that asked for our help with her timidity and fear.

Birdy

Image
Birdy , an angel rescued from a dumpster, beams with hope and blesses everyone she meets with bright smiles. A person walking by a dumpster saw a nose bobbing up and realized a dog was trapped inside and trying with all her might to jump out. Birdy is a cheery Powder Puff mix, great with people and dogs, 6 years of age and spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Maxwell

Image
Maxwell now beams with hope! He is a golden-hearted German Shepherd mix, 4 years of age, neutered, good with other dogs, and now debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . We rescued Maxwell from another shelter that ran out of space. He was very fearful and confused at first, but quickly adapted and realized everyone adored him and that he's safe.

Before & After -- Shiloh

Image
Shiloh, July 28 Shiloh, August 3 Shiloh, August 3 Shiloh beams with hope and knows everything has, finally, changed.  He is a Labradoodle, 5 years of age, 35 pounds, neutered boy, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Shiloh arrived in one of the worst conditions we've seen so far this year. The filthy matting around his mouth and left eye interfered with his ability to eat and see. Shiloh's background is a mystery and at some point recently his previous owner died. He was apparently deprived of toys, so he created toys out of what he could find. He likes to shred pieces of paper into tiny pieces. Please continue him on premium, probiotic meals and budget sufficiently for regular grooming and a great variety of toys and blankets. Everything we are giving him at the shelter seems to him to be new and exciting. A fresh start.

Clyde

Image
Clyde , 14, beams with hope and revels in all of the care and attention he's getting.  An American Eskimo Dog mix, suspected of being severely neglected for many years, he was confused why we were doting on him and brushing him.  Clyde has now had dental care and grooming and he's ready to finally know what a loving home feels like. He is good with other dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Willow

Image
Willow , a baby boy now well and beaming with hope, wants someone to love who he can always count on.  He is an adorable and delightful Terrier mix puppy, 6 months of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and triumphantly debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  At the time of rescue Willow was in peril from a life-threatening disease (parvo virus).  Thank you to the donors who made Willow's advanced veterinary care and recovery possible!

Fabio

Image
Fabio , cheerful and charismatic, beams with hope for a loving future. He is recovering very well from neglect and debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Fabio is a medium-size, 35-pound boy. We are not sure which breed he is -- he's on the very largest end for American Eskimo Dogs or the very smallest end for Samoyeds, or perhaps a combination of both.    Fabio is 5 years of age, neutered, and good with other friendly dogs.   We rescued him from another shelter that asked for our help.
