Daisy

Image
Daisy , a bashful junior kitten, is ready to bloom in a gentle forever home where she will be dearly loved.  She is a snow-white medium-hair, 9 months of age and spayed, and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Daisy can be bossy with other cats, but co-exists well with submissive personalities.  She needed us due to her previous owners' hardship.

Krystal

Image
Krystal yearns for a stable, loving forever home where she understands she will always be safe and cherished.  She is a spirited, but bashful girl, a blend of Miniature Schnauzer & Terrier, 6 years of age and spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Krystal can be around other dogs, but only if they are larger and stronger than herself.  She was found abandoned and terrified on the streets.

Starlet

Image
Starlet is beginning to understand she is worthy of love.    She is a young Cocker Spaniel with tremendous loving potential, 1 year of age, good with other dogs, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. We suspect Starlet was never once brushed or groomed prior to her rescue. Her coat was so matted we had to have it entirely shaved away to give her a fresh start.    Starlet is surprised when the staff and volunteers pay attention to her. She tries to hide her face and hope no one notices her. Please be extraordinarily patient as she adjusts to you, your home, and your lifestyle.

Sandra Dee

Image
Sandra Dee , a darling junior puppy, is so bashful she tries to avoid making eye contact. She would rather lean her head against you and hider her face and hope you keep petting her. Sandra Dee is ready to bloom. With kindness and patience, she will continue building self-esteem and confidence, becoming a well-adjusted girl. Sandra Dee is a German Shepherd mix, 8 months of age, good with other dogs, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety.

Jitterbug

Image
Jitterbug , a tiny, 3-pound sweetheart debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is a beautiful Longhair Chihuahua, 5 years of age, spayed girl, good with other dogs.  Jitterbug was at another shelter that asked for our help due to her timidity. She is afraid of strangers, but responds very well to soft voices and a tender touch.  Please help find a peaceful, stable for Jitterbug where she can bloom.

Wilma

Image
Wilma is a peppy, bashful young girl who is building trust with people.  She is a 2.5-pound California Giant guinea pig (sometimes known as "Cuy", a large type of guinea pig bred for human consumption in South America), 2 years of age, ready for adoption in the Lovebugs Room at Nevada SPCA.  Wilma was found abandoned in a vacated home.  Please help find her a home where she will be forever safe and treasured.

Gazelle

Image
Gazelle , now recovered from starvation, beautifully debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is a Jack Russell Terrier & Italian Greyhound mix with unique coloration, 2 years young and spayed, and good with other sweet dogs.  At the time of rescue she was at another shelter and emaciated with a bulging spine and ribs.  Gazelle is bashful and best suited for a very gentle home.

Please be patient and kind with me.

Maggie is a snuggly, bashful Italian Greyhound mix puppy (we believe she is 75% Italian Greyhound) debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She yearns to be with gentle people and she gets along well with other sweet dogs.  Maggie is long and slender, and quite speedy when she runs, though a calm home environment is likely most suitable for her.  Her background is mostly unknown except that she was in an inadequate home and failed to receive basic training or proper care.  Maggie is 6 months of age and now spayed.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for Maggie's safety.

I am beginning to realize that my future will be bright.

With your help, Petunia will soon finally know what a loving home feels like.    She is a bashful, pretty Miniature Pinscher, 5 years of age, a spayed girl, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    Petunia will likely do best in a home with another dog to help give her guidance.    We rescued her from another shelter which reported that her previous owners admitted to a loveless home without indoor access or socialization or training.    The extensive damage to the edges of Petunia's ears is apparently from insect bites and the sun.    We are eager to find her an amazing home where she will be showered with love and kindness.
