Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Rothchild , a wonderfully friendly baby boy, wants a home where he gets quality time with people daily.    He is an American guinea pig, 2 months of age, and debuting for adoption today in the Lovebug Room at Nevada SPCA . Rothchild's mom and Aunt, Mayflower and Gail, are available for adoption too (and previously posted). His mom was pregnant at the time of rescue and he was born here at the shelter and socialized well through the weeks with staff and volunteers.

Ned , a baby boy drawn to gentle people, is ready for adoption in the Lovebugs Room at Nevada SPCA.  He is an American guinea pig with calico coloring, 6 months of age. Ned is becoming more comfortable about being handled and needs an experienced home to help him continue progressing.  He needed us because he was unwanted by his previous owner.

Pele is a remarkably sweet and adorable junior puppy with beautiful blue sunbursts in both eyes.  He is a Chi-Weenie (Chihuahua & Dachshund mix), about 8 months of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Pele was surrendered to us by his previous owner (who cited her pregnancy as the reason) with a broken hind left leg caused by an accident somehow involving a young child jumping on a bed.  Pele is still healing, so please be sure to plan and budget sufficiently for follow-up veterinary care.  Please help find him a stable, responsible, loving forever home.

Snow Leopard is a majestic baby boy who loves being held and adored.  He enjoys chasing balls and playing with other cats. Snow Leopard is a Lynx Point Siamese kitten, now 4 months of age, neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety. He has been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home since his rescue.  Snow Leopard was a newborn when he was found in a trash can outside of a grocery store. Please visit and ask for this little prince by name.

Brady is one of the bubbliest babies in memory -- when excited, a fluffy blur of wiggles and kisses!  He is a Lhasa-Poo puppy, about 9 months of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety. Brady loves being the center of attention and we hope he never loses his innocence and joy for life.  He adores people and dogs and needs regular professional grooming.  At the time of rescue Brady was found abandoned in Las Vegas and he was ill.  Brady is now well and eager to share a lifetime of entertainment and unconditional love as a valued member of your family.

Drew and 14 other rescued motherless kittens urgently need loving foster homes today. Please visit Nevada SPCA before 4pm and ask for Lonnie if you can help. Drew and his 3 siblings were discovered by a volunteer who saw a box crudely taped & pinned together. Sure enough, someone had stuffed four kittens inside without food or water. The kittens are about 6 weeks of age and need loving care and socialization. More information on fostering .

Mohawk is a very affectionate Abyssinian mix baby boy debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  At the time of rescue a few weeks ago he was caught outdoors by a rescuer of feral cats.  She had taken him to a veterinary clinic for neuter and release, but the clinic believed Mohawk was more likely born to a domesticated mother outdoors, so the clinic contacted us and we placed him in a loving foster home for socialization.  Mohawk loves people and "makes biscuits" -- rhythmically kneads his paws on you -- to express his content for the kindness and care given to him. Please kitten-proof your home for his safety.

Prescott was witnessed being thrown out of a moving car on the I-95 freeway in Las Vegas last weekend.  Miraculously he had no broken bones (or jaw injuries, which are common when thrown from moving vehicles) and a Nevada SPCA foster mom happened to be there to capture and save him.  Prescott is now neutered, full of life and vigor and personality, approximately 3 months of age, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Prescott is one of 20 rescued kittens currently available for adoption.

This baby boy was one of several German Shepherds spotted running around on the streets of Las Vegas.  A kind man finally was able to capture only this puppy, now named Colt , and we later learned that the other dogs were caught too and safely placed with a breed rescue group.  Colt and the others had no sign of responsible ownership (no ID tags, no microchips, not spayed/neutered).  Colt is now 4 months of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety.  He is already showing signs of great intelligence and regal good looks!  German Shepherd knowledge is needed for his adoption.

Aladdin's three wishes: 1) A loving, forever home.  2) Indoors-only for safety.  3) Cherished as a valued member of the family.  Aladdin is a remarkably cute baby boy, a Siamese kitten, now 3 months of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home for his protection. Aladdin has been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home since his rescue.  He is very playful, personable, and compatible with other cats.

Buford is a confident boy who sees the house as one giant jungle gym to play in and explore.  His foster mom (who has cared for him since his rescue as a motherless newborn) said he likes to jump on the computer keyboard and show you that he can press down on the keys too to help you.  Buford is now 3 months of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety. Please have lots of toys and tunnels and posts for him to play with, as well as sharing plenty of quality time with him daily.

At the time of rescue Lonnie was only four weeks of age and someone was trying to sell him in front of a grocery store (at an age way too young to be separated from his mom).  Since then he has been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home with cats, dogs, rabbits, and other species.  Lonnie is an adorable chocolate & cream Chihuahua puppy, now 3 months of age and neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please give him kind guidance and a stable lifestyle routine.

Vegas Baby delights in playing in baskets and boxes, and he has a favorite jingle bell toy with a feather that he likes to carry around in his mouth from room-to-room.  He has been lovingly fostered since he was rescued as a motherless newborn.  Vegas Baby is now 3 months of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  He enjoys cuddling and purring his heart out, and he gets along well with other cats.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety.

Baby Mackey, debuting for adoption on June 28 Baby Mackey, in April, being bottle-fed by Zak Bagans, host & star of Ghost Adventures. We rescued Baby Mackey from another shelter.  He was just two weeks old, without a mother, and in dire need of nurturing care. We placed him in a very loving foster home and his foster mom worked tirelessly to save him, feeding him by bottle every few hours. During his foster care, Baby Mackey was socialized with cats, dogs, and rabbits (and sugar gliders and a pot belly pig).  His foster mom says he loves stealing shoes, playing in the water, and snuggling in your arms to give you puppy kisses. Baby Mackey is now 3 months of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety. He is a super cute blend of many breeds, including Retriever, and expected to grow to medium or large size.  His blue eye, his left eye, may have diminished vision.

At the time of rescue this tiny baby boy was found in a mechanic shop by an employee and nobody knew how he got there.  We named him Kendall and he is now 3 months of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Kendall is a jazzy kitten who loves pouncing on his toys, chasing your shoe laces, and making "happy feet" on your chest when you're laying down.  Please carefully kitten-proof your home for his safety.

Cadbury's extra toes may help him give even better hugs!  Cadbury is a spunky kitten, about 10 months of age, polydactyl on all four paws, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He loves other cats and he is fascinated by playing with shoe laces.  Before his rescue, Cadbury was witnessed being thrown from a car.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety.

Anthony is an inquisitive baby boy with charming eyes suggesting wisdom far beyond what his few months on Earth could bring. He is a cream & white Bully mix, 4 months of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  We expect Anthony to grow to medium size. Please provide him with kind guidance, a stable lifestyle routine, and basic training. Another shelter asked for our help with Anthony because they feared he was ill.  (He wasn't.) Anthony is a playful, friendly puppy ready to join a loving, forever home.

Luey adores people and he holds onto you tightly in your arms, giving you a kitten lick or nuzzle from time to time.  He is a super cute and sweet baby boy, an orange tabby shorthair, about 3 months of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home and yard for his safety. Luey is one of a litter of five rescued newborns who have been raised and socialized in a foster home.  Three of his siblings were adopted on Saturday, but Luey and his brother Dewey (also an orange tabby baby boy) still await loving, forever homes of their own.

Balloons is a comical baby boy with a colorful, uplifting personality and he triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is a cute Bully mix with panda bear coloring, about 6 months of age and now neutere d.  Please give Balloons your kind guidance and direction, as well as basic training.  At the time of rescue, Balloons was in peril with the parvo virus. We rushed him into a veterinary hospital for extensive treatment and he made a full and complete recovery!  Special thanks to all of you who donate to Nevada SPCA's advanced medical care fund and made his treatment & rehab possible!

Wayne is an adorable baby boy with a playful, jazzy spirit and he debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Wayne is a tri-color Chihuahua mix puppy, about 4 months of age, neutered, and good with other sweet dogs.  Please be sure to carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety.  This little angel was rescued from one of the busiest roads in Las Vegas with no sign of responsible ownership (no ID tag, no microchip ID, not neutered at the time).  We want to find him a stable, responsible, forever home where he will always be loved.
