Paladin, on the right, holding and cleaning a motherless newborn underneath him. Paladin is an extraordinary 3-month-old Siamese kitten, a neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. When just weeks old, he was rescued from an abandoned cardboard box in a department store parking lot. Paladin has since been raised in a loving foster home with cats and dogs. In recent weeks Paladin began helping his foster mom, a Nevada SPCA staff member, care for the rescued motherless newborn kittens she was also fostering, holding and cleaning them after she bottle-fed them.
