Macy , 10, a tiny angel, was found abandoned on a desert road with a softball-sized chest tumor.    Veterinarians were able to remove the growth and save her life.     Macy has healed well and she's now ready to bless someone wonderful with her love. Macy is a Yorkshire Terrier, good with other dogs, spayed, and triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .   A gentle, affectionate home is ideal for her.

Melissa delights in laying at your side on the bed and rolling over for gentle belly rubs.  She is an enchanting, affectionate youngster, a sweet girl with tortoiseshell coloration, 3 years of age, spayed, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Melissa became homeless due to no fault of her own (her previous owners' financial hardship).

Poinsettia purrs her heart out joyfully when sitting in your lap for petting or brushing. She is a gorgeous and affectionate youngster, a seal point Siamese with captivating eyes, 2 years of age and spayed, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Poinsettia requires a special diet (hyperthyroid). She needed us when her previous owners moved away without her.

Francine is 1 of 10 rescued kittens ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. She enjoys playing with other cats and small toys. Since her rescue she has been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home. Please kitten-proof your home for Francine's safety. Francine is 3 months of age and spayed. 

Shelly is a well-behaved girl who offers unconditional devotion in exchange for a stable, forever home.  She is a medium-size Heinz 57 with Australian Cattle Dog and stunning facial coloration, 5 years of age and spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Shelly is housetrained and compatible with dogs and older kids.  She is initially shy, then cannot get enough affection from those she trusts.

Sharmaine likes to follow you from room-to-room, offering help with your projects while learning all she can about you.  She is a lovely junior kitten, a medium-hair tabby & white, 10 months of age, spayed girl, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Sharmaine loves people of all ages and she is terrific with other cats too.  She needed us because a member of her previous family was allergic to her.

Ynez , an affectionate junior puppy, likes being held close, comforted against your chest and shoulder. She is a Chihuahua puppy with a beautiful spirit and chocolate & white coloration, 10 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Ynez enjoys other dogs. She was found abandoned in a park with no sign of responsible ownership.

Breeze , now triumphantly recovered from severe burns, is ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  She was at another shelter and needed our help.  Breeze had reportedly been stuck in a man's car engine.  Unable to remove her, he drove the car to the shelter, resulting in her serious injuries on her back and hips.  Breeze has thrived with months of loving care from staff and volunteers.  She purrs in your arms when you hold her and follows you around to remain in your presence.  Breeze is a lovely tabby, 4 years of age and spayed.  Please visit and ask for Breeze by name.

Nicole emerging from her blanket reminds us of how she has been blooming at the shelter.  Wary at first, then daring to peek and becoming comfortable with those around her.  Nicole is a bashful, gorgeous medium-hair, 3 years of age and spayed, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  She loves to snuggle in your lap and hear your words of reassurance.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for this series of portraits for Nicole .

Patricia is a young girl with a beautiful spirit and sweet personality and she debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. She is a Shih-Tzu, 2 years young, now spayed.  Patricia adores people and dogs.  Please budget for regular professional grooming.  Patricia was found on the streets with no sign at all of responsible ownership (no ID tag, no microchip ID, not spayed).  Her right outer ear is missing -- it appears to have been cut completely off -- and the cause is unknown.  Please help find Patricia a responsible, loving forever home.

Beatrice is a young sweetheart and she is blooming beautifully!  At the time of rescue earlier this autumn she was roaming the Vegas streets in emaciated condition with no sign of responsible ownership.  Physically, Beatrice is steadily gaining weight and energy with premium food.  Emotionally, she is warming up to people she knows and basking in being kindly touched.  Beatrice is a blond Bully mix, about 3 years of age, now spayed and triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.
