Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Melinda , 12, a gentle soul, is adjusting to life with one eye.    (We rescued her from another shelter and her right eye was maimed beyond repair.) Melinda is a darling Shih-Tzu and she is very grateful for all kindness.    She likes other sweet dogs and she is spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.   Please help find a hero for Melinda .

Gilbert likes to burrow under blankets to take his naps.  He is very sweet, gentle, and humble.  At the time of rescue he was found on a street corner with no sign of responsible ownership and suffering from an infection so severe his right eye could not be saved.  Gilbert is a tri-color Chihuahua, 8 years of age, neutered, good with other calm dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  He is still adjusting to the loss of his eye and screams if someone reaches for him too quickly on his blind side.  Please help find him a very patient, quiet, nurturing home so that he will only know love and kindness from now on.
