Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Willow , a baby boy now well and beaming with hope, wants someone to love who he can always count on.  He is an adorable and delightful Terrier mix puppy, 6 months of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and triumphantly debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  At the time of rescue Willow was in peril from a life-threatening disease (parvo virus).  Thank you to the donors who made Willow's advanced veterinary care and recovery possible!

Willow is an enthusiastic youngster with a heart of gold. She needs some manners though, as this was something her previous owner denied giving her, and she does not see much use for rules. Please provide Willow with basic dog training, giving her the good guidance she needs to channel her energy into proper behaviors. Willow is a medium-size Labrador Retriever mix, spayed, just 2 years of age.  She is fine with other dogs, including small ones, and she is good with mature kids. She needed us when her family moved out of state and surrendered all of their dogs to us. We had a blast trying to get this portrait.  She wore a huge smile for us all morning, but refused to sit still or pose in any traditional way.  We settled for a lap hug by the fountain, and love the result.  The Sinatra song "My Way" comes to mind . . .
