Teddy Bear

Teddy Bear , a teeny-tiny sweetheart (only 3 pounds) with a gentle soul, pleads for a peaceful home where he can love and be loved. He is a blond Chihuahua, 9 years of age and neutered, good with other small dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    Teddy Bear was found on the streets in very poor condition. After months of loving care, veterinary care, and foster care, he is now ready for a forever home.

Teddy Bear is a docile, lovable boy who is grateful for all kindness.    He is a well-behaved, small (17 pounds) Heinz 57 with Spaniel, Terrier & Toy, about 4 years of age, neutered, housetrained, and good with other friendly dogs. Teddy Bear’s previous owner surrendered him to another shelter for reportedly having a “seizure”. We have seen no signs of seizure activity and veterinarians remind us that often seizures are the result of ingesting something toxic in the home. Nevertheless, we want to share all we know, including the possibility that he may have epilepsy and another seizure (or seizures) in his life. Fortunately, anti-seizure medication is generally highly effective and inexpensive. Please share Teddy Bear's picture and help find him a hero.  He debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

I am saved! My bright spirit continues to shine.

Lollipop is like an enormous Teddy Bear with a jolly, shining personality and admirable kindness.  She makes those around her feel calm and at ease, which is a tremendous compliment for anyone.  Lollipop is a very plump, 110-pound Retriever mix, spayed girl, 7 years of age, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is on a weight reduction plan and this needs to safely and gradually continue in her forever home.  We rescued Lollipop from another shelter just in the nick of time, with only minutes to spare, and she can now continue bringing much-needed joy and devotion into this crazy, chaotic world.  Please help us find Lollipop a lifelong hero.

I am much more adorable than a toy Teddy Bear.

Update: Cookie was adopted on September 15th! Cookie loves people. He is a baby Teddy Bear hamster, male, about 3 months of age. Cookie has been socialized well, so he does not mind being handled. He seeks human contact and gets along well with other Teddy Bear hamsters too. He was reportedly dumped by his family at a retail store, where we rescued him and brought him into safety at Nevada SPCA. As with cats and dogs and other companion animals, we are seeking committed, loving forever homes for Cookie and the other Teddy Bear hamsters. So please only consider him if you can make a lifelong commitment to him joining your family, getting the care and attention he needs and deserves.
