Sweet Caroline has pleading eyes, yearning for peace-of-mind. She doesn't understand yet that she's safe and wonders why she doesn't have anyone to love. Sweet Caroline is a tender-hearted Chihuahua mix, 3 years young and spayed, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    She was at another shelter that asked for our help because she fears being spanked any time a hand approaches her hind end.    We don't know for sure what she has endured. But Sweet Caroline needs to know a gentle home where she never has to fear violence or rage.

Cracklin' Rosie Sweet Caroline Cracklin' Rosie & Sweet Caroline are quiet-natured, gorgeous girls with amiable personalities. They are very timid and we have to carry them from room to room.  They are gentle and just need to build confidence and self-esteem with socialization in a stable, patient home. Their previous owner was battling a terminal illness the past several years and could not give them the care and attention they needed.  So they will need kind guidance to help adjust to a new home. Cracklin' Rosie is a German Shepherd and Sweet Caroline is a Belgian Shepherd.  Both girls are spayed and about 8 years of age. Please help us find a hero to adopt the pair and help them reach their full loving potential.
