Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Foxy , 13, is an intelligent, well-behaved girl asking for a peaceful home where she will have someone appreciative to love. Foxy is a lovely blend of Aussie Cattle Dog & Shiba Inu. She is housetrained, spayed, and good with cats, dogs, and kids, and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Foxy is terrified of bikes and skateboards, perhaps due to a past trauma, and needs a home where these pieces of equipment are not operated in her presence. She needed us due to her previous owner's financial hardship.

Ingrid is ready to give humans another chance.    She is worried about strangers, but begins to warm beautifully and shine with those trying to earn her trust. Ingrid is sensitive young girl, a medium-size blend of Siberian Husky and Shiba Inu, 3 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    We rescued her from another shelter that asked for our help due to her timidity.

Kyle , a zany-fun Shiba Inu, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is 3 years young, a neutered boy. Kyle is picky about the dogs he likes and sometimes gets bossy with them.  He was found on the streets and all attempts to find his previous owner were unsuccessful.  Kyle needs a responsible, stable home where he will always be dearly loved and protected.

Tuck's favorite toy is a squeaky football and he loves going for walks.  He is a good-looking, inquisitive Shiba Inu, 2 years young, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Tuck is compatible with dogs and mature kids, plus housetrained too.  He needed us when his previous owner moved to a home where he was not permitted.

Von is a gentle boy on the road to recovery from severe starvation and eating premium probiotic food.  He has gained two pounds since his rescue and can now debut for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Von may have 7 pounds to go to reach ideal weight.  He was found about a mile from the desert and we can only speculate whether he was starving at a private home or if he was trying to survive near the canyon mountains.  Von is a Shiba Inu & Shepherd mix, medium-size boy, neutered, about 7 years of age, and good with other dogs.  Please help us find Von a wonderful, loving forever home where he will never again experience desperate hunger or loneliness.

Cambridge was found, forlorn and disoriented, on the streets without any sign of responsible ownership.  A kind couple saved him from getting struck by a vehicle. Cambridge is so happy to get a fresh start and the jolly side of his personality is beginning to be revealed.  He is a handsome, plump Shiba Inu, about 9 years of age, a neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Cambridge is good with other dogs and reportedly compatible with mature kids.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for capturing his brightening spirit in this portrait to help him find a responsible, loving, forever home.

Spring's gloom is lifting and it is wonderful to see her spirit reigniting with hope for her future. She is a calm-natured Shiba Inu mix, petite and spayed little lady, about 9 years of age, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. She valiantly survived a horrendous ordeal.  Her previous owner was breeding her for puppies, but refused to take her to a veterinary hospital when there were severe complications during labor.  We rescued Spring and rushed her into a hospital for an emergency C-section to save her life. Spring is recovering well physically and emotionally, and her days of being a breeding machine are now, finally, over.

Chi Chi has stolen our hearts!  She is dazzlingly sweet, playful, and engaging, with a light-hearted personality.  She is a petite, beautiful Shiba Inu, just 1 year of age, spayed, crate-trained, good with dogs and older kids, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Chi Chi needed us when her previous owner moved out of the country.

What a difference a few weeks of loving care has made for Fendi . This lovely young girl had not been socialized properly, with people or other animals, and she wanted nothing to do with any of us initially.  In fact, she tried snapping at us when her previous owner handed her off. Now, trust is building, along with her self-esteem, and we believe she is seeing the world in a more colorful, kind way. Fendi is a Shiba Inu mix, spayed girl, about one year of age, triumphantly debuting for adoption today.  Her progress with trust will need to continue in her new home. She needed us because her previous owner said she had "no room" for her. Fendi is reportedly housetrained and enjoys watching TV on a blanket with you in the evenings.

Update: Harley was adopted on January 29th! Harley is a zany, outgoing, friendly, and handsome young boy. He is most likely a Shepherd & Shiba Inu mix. He is medium-sized, neutered, and just a year of age. Harley needed us because his previous family's living situation was restricted to companion animals under 25 pounds. He is full of love, compatible with cats & dogs & kind children, plus housetrained & crate-trained too. Harley debuts for adoption today.

Update: Babs was adopted on October 23rd! Babs enjoys giving kisses to people she adores. She is a stunning young girl, most likely a Shiba Inu mix, perhaps with Basenji too. Babs is spayed and about 2 years of age. She debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. We rescued Babs from another shelter. She is good with other dogs and may do best if there is another dog (or dogs) in the home too. Babs requires a very secure home and yard. She lost her previous family due to jumping a 5-foot fence. Please come meet this unique girl. She has a zest for life and a beautiful spirit.
