Sassy , an 8-week-old Yorkie-Poo, needs an experienced foster parent please for approximately 6 weeks. She is very nervous and needs more socialization in a patient, calm home environment. If you can help Sassy , please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Joellyn. Sassy was unwanted by her previous owners. Another dog -- an older brother or sister -- may help her adjust and feel more secure.

Norma , 1 year young, sassy and full of personality, is ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  She is used to living with cats, dogs, and kids.  Norma chirps to get people's attention and affection.  She needed us when her previous owner passed away.

Sassy is a 14-year-old angel who needed us when her previous owner passed away and she had nowhere to go.  She is an elegant, mellow senior, a medium-hair tortoiseshell, spayed girl, who loves to snuggle.  Sassy is very enthusiastic for her wet food (canned cat food) and jumps in your lap to be brushed and spoken to gently.  She gets along well with other cats too.  Please help us find a hero for Sassy .  She debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Update: Sassy & Apricot were adopted on March 17th! Sassy & Apricot are outgoing, affectionate young guinea pigs who cherish your attention. Though not sisters technically (but perhaps daughter & mother), they are very strongly bonded and want to spend their lifetimes with each other. Sassy (left) is a 5-month old baby and Apricot is a year-old calico. We rescued the girls from another shelter. Please be sure to ask for Sassy & Apricot by name when you visit Nevada SPCA. They debut for adoption today.

Update: Sassy was adopted on July 17th! Sassy is a sensitive, beautiful young lady with extraordinary loving potential. But she is battling depression right now. Her owner died and she does not understand what has happened. Sassy needs patience and guidance in an experienced home with a stable routine to help her gain self-esteem and confidence. She is very timid due to lack of socialization, so even walking on a leash can be terrifying to her. Sassy is a Belgian Shepherd mix, spayed female, approximately three years young. She debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. She likes other dogs, and having another dog in the home may help her adjust and overcome depression sooner. A quieter home too is ideal for her.
