Sadie

Sadie is a bashful junior puppy, but compliment her with effusive praise and she lifts her head and ears and wants to hear more. Then she crawls right into your lap for some snuggling. Sadie is beautiful inside and out, just 10 months of age, a Retriever & Cattle Dog mix, spayed girl, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety.    She is housetrained and good with dogs and older kids.    Sadie was at another shelter that ran out of space.    Please visit and ask for her by name.

Sadie was at another shelter and trembling in fear.  She is letting us hold and reassure her and she is building up confidence well in the presence of other dogs.  Like Holly, who was posted earlier today, Sadie would love to be another dog's devoted little sister.  She will thrive best following another dog's lead and adjusting to a peaceful and stable home.   Sadie is an adorable tri-color Chihuahua mix, 5 years of age and spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Sadie prefers a leisurely lifestyle and develops ever-stronger bonds with people based on time, familiarity, and respect.    She may not instantly warm to you, but through the years a very powerful bond will grow ever brighter. Sadie is an 8-year-old longhair with rich torbie coloration, a spayed girl, great with other cats, ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.   She needed us after her previous owner abandoned her with a stranger and then refused to reclaim her.

The radiant Sadie!

Sadie's radiance is brilliantly captured by Pet'ographique in this stunning portrait to help her find a loving, forever home.  Sadie is an intelligent Australian Cattle Dog mix, spayed girl, about 6 years of age, and she enjoys other sweet dogs.  Please come meet and adopt Sadie at Nevada SPCA.  She has been here for months, an overlooked hidden treasure, and she is trying to patiently await someone special so she can join their family.

I am not too big to be a lap dog.

Update: Sadie was adopted on January 11th! Sadie is a medium size girl, perhaps slightly smaller, who thinks of herself as a Toy size dog for cuddling and hugging. She loves shaking paws.  She is a lovebug, full of affection and devotion. She is an Australian Cattle Dog mix, spayed, about 7 years of age, debuting for adoption today. Sadie is very good with other dogs and reportedly fine with cats and great with kind children.  She is also reportedly housetrained. She needed us due to her previous owners' home foreclosure.

I have smiles to share everyday with everyone.

Update: Sadie was adopted on February 20th! Young at heart, Sadie is full of energy and enthusiasm. She is a Beagle mix with an attractive rust-red coat, spayed female, reportedly 7 years of age. This well-behaved girl lost her previous home because a child was allergic to her. Besides being good with other dogs, Sadie is reportedly fine with cats and children, plus housetrained and crate-trained too. An active lifestyle will be best for her, so please plan on daily walks and playtime. Sadie debuts for adoption today.

I have an exotic appearance, but inside I am all sweetheart.

Update: Sadie was adopted on October 2nd! Sadie is a youngster with numerous exceptional qualities. She enjoys kind children, she is housetrained, and she bonds well with other good-natured dogs. Sadie is a medium-size Heinz 57 with brindle & white coloring. Half of us see a Basenji mix, while the other half guesses Australian Cattle Dog. We rescued Sadie from another shelter. She was left there due to no fault of her own when her owner's living situation changed. She likes to give kisses and she is full of devotion. Please come meet and adopt Sadie today.
