Heathcliff

Image
Heathcliff loves to nurture other big dogs. He envelops them with his arms in a giant hug and licks their faces and necks to soothe them. Other dogs mean the world to Heathcliff . His experiences with humans have included fear and violence. He was at another shelter this spring that asked for our help because he was so afraid of people. Now, four months later, thanks to the dedication of staff and volunteers, Heathcliff realizes people can be kind. He desperately wants to know that you are happy with him.    Heathcliff is a Rottweiler & Shepherd mix, 4 years of age and neutered, triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

She is a soulful Rottweiler with a beautiful spirit, spayed girl, about 6 years of age, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Rusty, a handome Rottweiler ready to add joy to your life.

Image
Rusty loves to shake paws.  He is a social, engaging youngster who wants and needs to be around people.  But his previous owner got him through one of those anonymous classifed ad web sites and was trying to turn him into a "guard dog".  We are committed to finding Rusty a loving home where he will be valued as a companion and family member and he debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Rusty is a handsome Rottweiler, neutered, 3 years of age.

I will sing my love to you!

Ace of Hearts.

Image
Update: Ace was adopted on November 29th! We love Ace's magnificent smile. Wouldn't you look forward to coming home every day to see his heartfelt, bright eyes waiting at the door to welcome you back? Ace is a handsome blend of Rottweiler and Shar Pei.  He is neutered, about 4 years of age, and ready for adoption today. We rescued him from another shelter, so we have very little background information on him.  But it's clear he cherishes people. Ace may do best with some basic dog training.  He pulls when walking on the leash, seemingly unaware of his size and strength.

I am a baby-faced boy who adores belly rubs.

Update: Booma was adopted on August 31st! Booma (the name he arrived with) is a knock-out, both exceptionally handsome and super sweet. He is guaranteed to charm and he has a sparkling personality. Booma is a Rottweiler, neutered male, about 6 years of age. He enjoys kind children and he is compatible with other friendly dogs, plus housetrained (with a doggie door) and crate-trained too. One of his favorite toys is the Kong, filled with peanut butter or other treats. Booma was surrendered to us. His owner declined to give a reason other than "rescue". Booma debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Rottweiler knowledge and/or experience is needed for his adoption. Please note that since he is an adult purebred, and a breed prone to hip dysplasia, we had him evaluated by a veterinarian who found no outward signs of problems. Nonetheless, please monitor his hips with your veterinarian, who may suggest an x-ray for confirmation in the years to come.
