Ellie , 15, and full of grace, likes purring contentedly in your arms.    Cuddling and reassurance mean everything to her at this time. Ellie became homeless due to her previous owner's hardship. Tywin , 12, a handsome and friendly flame point Ragdoll, enjoys leisure time on the couch, looking out windows, and sleeping at your side.  He is compatible with cats and dogs, neutered, previously declawed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Tywin was surrendered by his previous owners who believed they had become allergic to him.  Please visit and ask for this super sweet boy by name.

Leo enjoys being cradled like a baby.  He is an exceptionally handsome Ragdoll, 4 years of age and neutered, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Leo is very gentle and each afternoon chats with you to remind you that it is time for some wet food treats.

Sebastian's favorite things include pouncing on mouse-shaped toys, perching on cat tree furniture to watch a room's activities, and napping at your side on the bed or couch.  He is an exceptionally attractive boy, a Ragdoll with lilac point coloration, 2 years young and neutered, good with cats and dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Mary is 1 of 15 rescued kittens ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA, as well as more than 100 sweet adults cats of all ages and personality types. Mary is a bashful Ragdoll and lynx point Siamese mix kitten, 3 months of age and spayed.  Please kitten-proof your home for her safety.   She loves playing with other cats and warms to people who are gentle with her.    A calm home environment is likely ideal for Mary .

Dinah , a gentle young spirit, longs for a peaceful and mellow life. She is a dainty, gorgeous blend of Ragdoll and lynx point Siamese, 3 years of age and spayed, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Dinah is drawn to soft-spoken people and calm-natured cats. We rescued her from another shelter.

At the time of rescue Lexy had painful burn marks across her whole back (from an unknown cause).  For many weeks now she has been treated by veterinarians and recovering well.  Lexy now has hair growing back and even her scarring is minimal.  Today, she triumphantly debuts for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Lexy loves to jump in laps for affection.  She enjoys napping in the coziest cat beds and looking out the window ("cat TV").  She is a gorgeous blend of many breeds -- perhaps Ragdoll, Siamese, and Snowshoe -- about 4 years of age and spayed.

Angel is a mellow, exceptionally handsome boy who longs for a loving, forever home.  He is a Ragdoll with a gentle spirit and entrancing blue eyes, previously declawed, about 9 years of ge, neutered, and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Angel became homeless due to no fault of his own (his previous owners had a financial crisis).  Please ask for Angel specifically by name when you visit.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for this remarkable portrait that captures his personality so beautifully.

If you are gentle and hold Hannah close, she will kiss your neck.  Hannah is a gorgeous Ragdoll mix with an easy-going temperament, spayed, 1 year young, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Hannah's previous owner declawed her (all four paws), so it is especially critical that she enjoys the safety of an indoor-only home.  Hannah needed us when her previous owners moved away without her.

Seniors like Chelsea are blessed with wisdom and grace, and offer just as much unconditional love as kittens. Chelsea is a majestic Ragdoll with a gorgeous leonine appearance and she debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She adorably cuddles by burying her face in your neck. Chelsea is spayed, about 14 years of age, and needed us when her previous owner passed away.

Sissy is a beautiful lady with a generally easy-going and loving temperament.  She carefully chooses the most comfortable locations for her catnaps, and delights in sun-bathing indoors by curling up near sunny windows. Sissy is a Ragdoll mix, spayed, about 6 years of age, available for adoption in Nevada SPCA's Cat Condos.  Please ask for her by name. Please plan on brushing her long coat at least twice weekly.  And, like all cats, she needs to remain strictly indoors for her safety and protection. Sissy gravitates toward kind adults, but seems terrified of children.  Her past is unknown and we just know that she was abandoned in a building lobby.

A fireman rescued Pele when an abandoned, foreclosed home was burning down.  The fireman said he could hear him, but the cat was traumatized and very difficult to locate.  He found him by tracking the bloody paw prints to his hiding place. Fast forward a few months, and now Pele's pads have healed and he is triumphantly ready for adoption.  His front pads had the most severe burns and he can walk on them, though understandably gingerly at times. Pele is a handsome Ragdoll mix with baby blue eyes.  He is neutered and approximately 5 years of age.  He has a calm temperament and prefers lounging around peacefully and comfortably. He is best as the only cat.  While he loves gentle people, he gets grumpy quickly with other felines. Please ask for Pele by name in the Cat Condos.  He seeks a caring, forever home where he can always remain safely indoors.

Dominique has a complex personality that defies easy explanation. But please have no doubt that she is able to develop a powerful relationship with you based on time, trust, respect, and compassion. She is a gorgeous blend of breeds, perhaps Persian and Ragdoll, with ocean-blue eyes. She is spayed and approximately 6 years of age. Dominique has an independent streak, but enjoys bits of snuggling and petting from you. When she has had enough, or gets over-stimulated, she is not shy about demanding her space again. She is the same with other cats, so she will likely do best if any other cat in the home is respectful and independent too. A quiet home would be dandy for her. Cosmo needed us when his previous owner became terminally ill. He is a gentle boy who loves cuddling and soaking up adoration. Cosmo is a Ragdoll mix with lovely blue eyes. He is neutered and about 8 years of age and declawed on all four feet. While Cosmo is respectful of other cats, he may be best as the only cat in the home. Please plan on regular brushing and grooming for his beautiful coat. Cosmo is in foster care, but available for adoption on Saturdays at Nevada SPCA. Please visit and ask for him in the lobby. Like all cats, he needs and deserves an indoor-only home for his safety and protection.

Update: Anna was adopted on June 3rd! With radiant blue eyes and a very loving nature, we find Anna irresistible! She is a gorgeous Himalayan & Ragdoll mix, spayed female, 2 years young. Anna will do best in a home as a lap cat. She enjoys snuggling in your lap and curling up in your arms for a purr-fest. Anna's four kittens also survived their abandonment. They were stuffed in an worn-out box with her and thrown away in an industrial area. Fortunately, one of our staff happened to find them before they died of starvation or dehydration. Anna's kittens are in foster care. They will be available for adoption too once they have completed their series of booster vaccines and become old enough that we can spay/neuter them. Update: Amanda was adopted on March 27th! Amanda is a precious young girl ready for adoption in Nevada SPCA's free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms. Her very loving personality matches her tremendous beauty. She adores attention and needs your affection and praise. Amanda is a Ragdoll mix, spayed, just about a year of age. She is playful and fine with other sweet cats. Her medium-hair coat will need regular brushing. Amanda needed us after she was abandoned at a veterinary hospital. Like all cats, she needs and deserves a strictly indoor-only home for her safety and protection.
