Pumpkin loves to fall asleep in your arms.  He is a delightful baby boy, now 3 months of age and neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Since his rescue he has been lovingly raised with cats, dogs, and rabbits in a wonderful foster home.  Pumpkin is a blend of many breeds and expected to grow only to medium size (or remain small).

Midnight, Noche, and Pumpkin

Midnight, baby boy. Noche, baby girl. Pumpkin, baby boy. Midnight , Noche , and Pumpkin have been very lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home since their rescue.  The babies are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Midnight adores other cats and needs a calm home environment with adults. Children and strangers frighten him. He has extra toes (polydactyl), which help him bat at his toys during playtime. Noche's favored activities include chasing toy balls with jingle bells inside or sitting in your lap for petting. She loves exploring new rooms and enjoys other cats. Pumpkin is very social and may follow you around the house to be in your presence. He is a remarkable athlete and can jump to places you'd never consider, so carefully kitten-proofing your home is of special importance.

Angel Charlie Rascal Angel , Charlie , and Rascal are gentle kittens with endearing personalities.  They are the babies of Pumpkin , a young mom, who is also available for adoption (posted previously).  The trio are about 4 months of age, spayed/neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please ask for them by name.

The ones I have loved and trusted before have hurt me.

Update: Pumpkin was adopted on January 7th! Pumpkin's heart aches and yearns to believe in people, despite numerous failures from previous owners who abused her innocence. She is a small Heinz 57 with a unique, lovely appearance that defies easy breed categorization. She is spayed, between 3-4 years of age, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Pumpkin is comforted by the presence of other sweet dogs and she is reportedly housetrained. We rescued her from another shelter. She had been abandoned there reportedly due to separation anxiety, which is often caused by repeated abandonments -- losing those you love and fearing that more rejection and devastating loss is on the way. But it is clear Pumpkin was also struck and screamed at. Trusting people again will take time and patience in an experienced, adult-only home with a steady lifestyle routine. In addition, in addressing separation anxiety, while there are no instant fixes, it can be diminished as she builds self-este...

All will be well if I can make just the right match.

Update: Pumpkin was adopted on October 14th! Pumpkin is a happy-go-lucky youngster with a world of love to share. He is a Bichon Frise, neutered, only one year of age. Please plan on (and budget for) regular grooming care. The right schedule for grooming varies with each dog, of course, but please prepare for at least quarterly grooming. Pumpkin has a mixed record with other dogs. He is fine with some, but in a foster home he reportedly attacked and injured another dog. So he may be best as the only dog in the home or we will use great caution in pairing him up with another dog. Pumpkin debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.
