John Snow Princess 32 rescued kittens -- including John Snow and Princess -- need foster homes! Please share this post to help. If you can foster, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Debra. John Snow is a newborn found in a person's window sill this morning. He has been accepted by a surrogate mother cat (also rescued). Princess is a petite girl, 8 weeks of age, with tortoiseshell coloring. She was found in a family's backyard without her mom or siblings. Her foster commitment needs to be approximately 6 weeks please.

Princess , 10, grins with admiration and gratitude at the people who are kind to her.  She is a thoughtful girl who loves to cuddle.  Princess is a Kelpie & Retriever mix, good with other dogs, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  We rescued this sweetheart from another shelter that ran out of space for her.

Princess beams with joy and overflows with happiness when she knows you like her.  She is a Mini Bully (just 23 pounds), 3 years young and spayed, good with other dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Princess was at another shelter that asked for our help because she fears being chased, likely due to a past trauma.  Please visit and ask for her by name.

Princess , a teenager, likes being held and complimented and reassured. It looks like she has a pouty lip, but this is only because she has no teeth left. She is calm-natured and grateful for every bit of kindness.    Princess is a Toy Poodle, spayed girl, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    She was rescued from a dangerously busy parking lot with no sign of responsible ownership. Nevada SPCA's adoption hours are 10am-2pm. New Year's Day adoption hours are 10am-5pm.

Princess is a thoughtful little girl ready to bless someone with her unconditional devotion.  She is a Malt-Tzu (Maltese & Shih-Tzu mix), 12 years of age and spayed, good with other gentle dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Princess survived severe neglect, and likely worse.  At the time of rescue she was at another shelter that asked for our help due to her broken elbow and severe dental problems.  Princess is now healed and we had dental care provided for her (cleaning and 9 teeth extractions).  Please come meet Princess and let her steal your heart. 

Park Sparkle Cirque Torq We rescued Princess (pictured below), a sweet and petite Longhair Chihuahua & Terrier mix, and her four newborn babies from another shelter.  Princess had given birth just a few days earlier, on New Year's Eve, but for reasons unknown to us her previous owner surrendered Princess and her newborns there at such a critical, fragile time. We immediately placed mom and babies in a loving foster home for tender care and socialization.  The babies, brother Torq and his three sisters -- Cirque , Park , and Sparkle -- are incredibly sweet and playful, melting the heart of everyone who meets them. Once her babies were weaned, Princess was then spayed and adopted.  Now, her puppies are 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We expect them to remain small, like their mom. The New Year's Eve Puppies can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair for lifelong love...

Princess is an affectionate, grateful little beauty debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is a Chihuahua & Terrier mix with butterscotch & white coloring, about 5 years of age, spayed girl, good with other friendly dogs.  At the time of rescue Princess had been surrendered to another shelter, along with her four month-old babies.  We placed Princess and her puppies in loving foster care.  Princess is now ready for a forever home (and her babies will be ready in the weeks to come once they are old enough to be spayed/neutered).

Update: Princess was adopted on October 18th! Princess is ready to blossom. She is a bashful, sensitive young girl who needs a patient owner to help her gain confidence. Like many puppies who are improperly socialized, she can get terrified in new situations and with strangers.  There are no instant fixes, but her progress will continue as she builds more self-esteem. Princess is a pretty Chihuahua mix with warm eyes and an innocent spirit.  She is spayed, about 2 years of age, and debuts for adoption today. She is likely to do best in a home with another dog (or two) -- a big sister or big brother dog to help guide her and speed up her adjustment process.  An experienced, adult-only home, please. Princess needed rescue due to her previous owner's financial hardship.

Update: Princess was adopted on September 18th! Princess is a regal, precious puppy who enjoys playing with kind, mature children. She is a beautiful Chihuahua mix, spayed female, about 9 months of age. Please be sure to carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety and protection. Princess needed us due to her previous owners' financial hardship. She is compatible with dogs and she is reportedly crate-trained, but not yet fully housetrained (so your patience and guidance and a stable lifestyle routine are needed). Like all puppies, Princess needs to chew, so please direct her away from shoes to toys that are safe. Princess debuts for adoption today.

Update: Princess was adopted on August 4th! Princess is a calm-mannered girl anxiously awaiting a knight in shining armor -- a new, loving, forever home. She is certainly regal when it comes to loyalty and devotion. Though shy with strangers and loud people, she loves cuddling with those she knows and trusts. Princess is a medium-size Heinz 57, most likely a gorgeous mix of Chow Chow and Retriever resulting in deep red-brown eyes and fur coloring. She is spayed and about 5 years of age. She is reportedly housetrained. We believe Princess will do best in a gentle, adult-only home. We rescued Princess from another shelter. She was surrendered there reportedly for barking when she got lonely, isolated in a backyard without attention. Princess is ready to share her magical personality with you and she debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Update: Princess & Coco were adopted together on May 18th! Princess & Coco needed us when their previous owner had to move into hospice. Siblings and soul-mates, this precious pair of chocolate Toy Poodle mixes seek a quieter, loving home where they can feel safe and secure again. Princess & Coco are sister & brother, spayed/neutered, and reportedly 9 years of age. They are good with other sweet dogs and they are reportedly housetrained. Please plan on regular grooming care for them and budget extra accordingly.

We are quite alarmed at the increasing number of rescued dogs coming from owners who forced them to live in garages. In some cases, as with Princess here, this is during both day and night, and completely unacceptable on many levels. This young girl will be regal some day soon, but first she needs more socialization and confidence. Princess is a golden Chihuahua, spayed female, approximately 3 years of age. She enjoys dogs and being in a home with another dog should help her complete housetraining sooner and adjust to proper indoor living. Princess debuts for adoption today. Update: Princess was adopted on February 13th! Princess is an affectionate, very sweet girl, but shy and confused at the moment. She needed us when her previous owners were on the verge of losing their home. Princess is a young Boxer with a quiet spirit. She has the natural ears we prefer (being more attractive and more humane to not be cropped) and she is spayed and about 2 years of age. Princess reportedly loves children of all ages and she is fine with other friendly dogs, and housetrained too. Boxer knowledge and/or experience is preferred for her adoption. Princess debuts for adoption today.

Update: Simba & Princess were adopted together on February 4th! Simba & Princess , most likely brother & sister, despite their varied good looks, are bubbly youngsters with very affectionate natures. They are Dachshunds, neutered and spayed, just past a year of age. Simba & Princess are soul-mates and want and need to remain together forever. They needed us because their owner became seriously ill and could no longer care for them. Simba & Princess love to play with rope toys. They are good with other dogs, and reportedly housetrained & crate-trained. Dachshund knowledge and/or experience is preferred for their adoption. Simba & Princess debut for adoption today.

Update: Prince was adopted on December 18th! As most of you know, countless puppies lose their families each year because their owners fail to plan for their needs to play, chew, romp, and bond with people and other animals. Prince , a super cute Pomeranian mix with a happy-go-lucky nature, needs a new owner who is aware of and ready for the extra needs puppies have to help them develop into well-adjusted, well-balanced adults. He is neutered, about 5 months young, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Prince is reportedly housetrained and good with dogs. Please be sure to plan for regular grooming care and budget extra accordingly.

Update: Princess was adopted on December 17th! Affectionate and very good-natured, Princess loves to sneak in licks and kisses to show you her adoration and gratitude. She is a beautiful Boston Terrier, spayed female, about 4 years of age. Princess is compatible with other dogs, and reportedly fine with cats too. In addition, she is reportedly housetrained (with a doggie door) and crate-trained. Boston Terrier knowledge and/or experience is preferred for her adoption. Princess lost her home allegedly due to digging. Princess debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Update: Princess was adopted on December 10th! Princess is a shy, tender-hearted, and sensitive youngster. She is a petite Cocker Spaniel, spayed, 3 years of age, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Princess needed us due to no fault of her own (but instead due to her owner's financial collapse). Besides being good with other sweet dogs, she is reportedly housetrained (with a doggie door) and compatible with cats and mature children. Please plan for regular grooming care and ear cleaning for Princess . Cocker Spaniel knowledge and/or experience is preferred.
