Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

March 14 March 14 December 23 Bambi was rescued right before Christmas. Known then as "Pippi", she was pregnant and only days away from giving birth. We put out an emergency plea for a foster hero and a wonderful veterinary technician named Julie stepped forward for her. Bambi birthed and raised her three babies in Julie's nurturing home. (Her babies remain in foster care for a bit longer for their spay/neuter surgeries.) Bambi loves squeaky toys, leaping up steps, and bonding with cats, dogs, and people.    She is a tiny girl with enormous charm, a Chihuahua, 1 year of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .

Just rescued, pregnant, and likely ready to give birth within a week or less, Pippi needs a foster hero please! If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person. Pippi is exceptionally sweet and friendly and blessed with a buoyant personality. She is about 1 year of age.    Please share Pippi's picture to help find a hero.

Pippi , a 7-month-old adorable puppy, loves playing fetch! Her toys are important to her and she likes having many to choose from, depending on what she is in the mood to play with.  Pippi is an Italian Greyhound mix, perhaps with Jack Russell Terrier, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety. Pippi is compatible with dogs and older kids and she is mostly housetrained.  She needed us when her previous owners moved into a living situation where dogs are not allowed.  Please visit and ask for Pippi by name.

Pippi , still a baby herself, likes to mother and nurture other kittens.  She is amazing with people too, and happiest when interacting socially.  Pippi is an adorable kitten with gorgeous calico coloration, about 7 months of age, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home for her safety.

Caylie Pippi Tara Caylie , Pippi , and Tara are three ducklings who need a safe, caring, loving forever home where they can remain together.  All three are about 6-7 weeks of age and they delight in frolicking in wading pools.  Caylie and Tara are Crested Pekin ducks and Pippi is a Mallard.  Their previous owner said they bought them at a pet store, but they got 'too big'.  The babies are completely dependent on humans for survival.  Please visit Nevada SPCA and ask for Janean if you would like to adopt them.

Pippi is a sunny, enthusiastic young girl with a lustrous personality and beaming smile. She is a Peke-A-Poo (Pekingese & Poodle mix), 1 year of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Pippi adores people and dogs.  She is a social butterfly, so plenty of quality time with her daily is absolutely essential. Please plan and budget for regular professional grooming. At the time of rescue Pippi was at another shelter and had an ear infection.  We had her treated and she has recovered well.

Update: Piper and her two babies Pip and Pippi were adopted on or before May 17th! Pippi (pictured here), and her brother Pip and mother Piper , debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Mother & babies needed us when their previous owners changed their living situation and these three angels could no longer remain in the home. Pippi, Pip and Piper are most likely Toy & Spaniel mixes and we expect them to remain small. Each is spayed/neutered and mom is approximately 2 years of age, while Pippi and Pip are about 3 months of age. They can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair, or the trio, for a lifetime of love and companionship.
