Phoebe

Phoebe , 3, yearns for peace-of-mind.    A cruelty survivor, she remembers the abuse in her nightmares and frequently cries, screams, and growls in her sleep. (Please wake her with lights or noise, rather than by touch, to avoid an unintended nip/snap.) Phoebe is a tender-hearted girl with tremendous loving potential. She is a Chihuahua mix, spayed, 3 years of age, housetrained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .   Phoebe is good with other dogs (as long as meals and treats are fed to her when she is alone).

Phoebe , 15, enjoys being softly brushed, resting in your lap, enjoying wet food on small plates, and napping on the tops of cat towers.  She is a chocolate point Siamese, spayed girl, previously declawed, and partially blind.  Please share Phoebe's picture to help find her a hero at Nevada SPCA . She was at another shelter and we have no background yet on how she arrived there.

Phoebe , a Mini Bully junior puppy, is happiest giving you hugs and snuggling in your arms. She hopes she can be your baby forever. Phoebe is 6 months of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Phoebe is compatible with other friendly dogs (her size and larger). Phoebe has a birth defect with her hind legs and needs a hero. She can walk just for short distances. Her veterinarian believes her legs may gain strength with short walks and swimming.

Phoebe is a petite Snowshoe mix who loves chatting with you and hearing about your day. If you aren't paying enough attention, she sometimes rolls around near your feet to let you know it's time for cuddling. Phoebe is 18 months young, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. At the time of rescue she and her babies were homeless. We placed them in a wonderful foster home for nurturing care. ( Phoebe's kittens are still in the foster home and will be ready for adoption too once they are spayed/neutered.) Please visit and ask for Phoebe by name.

Bonnie Blue Belle Jade Opal Phoebe Piper We are inspired by the progress of these five girls!   Bonnie Blue Belle , Jade , Opal , Phoebe , and Piper debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. They are 5 more of the 33 dogs confiscated from squalor and horrors. The girls are beginning to walk on leash, wag their tails when they greet us, step into our laps for cuddling, and exhibit other ways of accepting compassion.    All are gentle and blooming. Nevertheless, very experienced heroes are needed to adopt them because they have never experienced a loving home before and will need time and patience to adjust. The girls are 3 and 4 years of age and now spayed. They are medium in size, ranging from 20-33 pounds, blends of Whippet, Beagle, Mini Bully, and more. More details on the 33 rescued dogs .

Phoebe , 14, is intrigued by flowing water. She never misses the chance to intently watch you run the faucet and pour fresh water into her bowl.  Phoebe is a seal point Siamese, spayed, previously declawed (front paws), and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  She only has one tooth left, so please ensure her meals and treats are very soft so she can safely enjoy them.  Phoebe was at another shelter and needed our help.  Please help find her a gentle hero.

Phoebe, a very special puppy needing a hero.

Phoebe loves bonding with people and being reassured that she is safe and adored.  She is a Belgian Shepherd mix junior puppy, 8 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  She is good with other dogs. Please share her post to help find Phoebe a hero. Due to either birth defects or early life trauma, she has a number of challenges, including weak hips and possible epilepsy.  Phoebe has improved during her weeks with us, but some of her challenges will be life-long.  Phoebe was found roaming the streets and her microchip ID traced back to a previous owner who refused her.  Please come meet this special angel and open your heart to her.

Eight rescued, motherless young kittens need foster homes today please.

These three baby sisters -- Phoebe , Page , and Prudence -- need a surrogate mom, a foster parent.  Please visit Nevada SPCA before 4pm today if you can help these girls or any of the five other rescued motherless newborns. Phoebe , Page , and Prudence are about a month of age.  The foster commitment would be for approximately 2-3 months.  The girls are eating on their own, but need socialization and the comforts of a home environment during these especially formative weeks.  Here is more information about foster care.

Doesn't every home need a princess?

The jeweled crown Pet'ographique included in Phoebe's portrait fits this princess beautifully.  She asks only to be adored and loved. Phoebe is a Lop-Eared Silver Martin bunny, spayed girl, 7-9 years of age, with a gentle soul. She hopes for a compassionate home for her twilight years and she gets along well with other calm rabbits. Please ask for Phoebe by name in Nevada SPCA's Lovebugs Room.
