Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Nala , a junior puppy, bonds very strongly with the people she trusts. She kisses them and stares at them with adoration. She is bashful with strangers and needs to continue building self-esteem and confidence. Nala is 10 months of age, an attractive Chihuahua, spayed, crate-trained, good with dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety. Nala needed us when her previous owner suffered a severe stroke and was rendered unable to care for her.

Nala is an exceptionally kind young girl with an endearing personality and she triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. She was at another shelter that asked for our help because of multiple injuries from an unknown cause, which included trauma to her left ear drum, a broken tooth, and a leg wound.  We rescued Nala and had her injuries treated and she is recovering beautifully, both physically and emotionally.  Nala is a Toy & Terrier mix, 1 year of age, spayed, good with other dogs, and best with gentle people.  Please help us find her a loving, forever home where she never experiences violence again.

Update 2: Nala & Niko were adopted together on December 4th! Update: Nina was adopted on December 3rd! Nina (pictured here) and her sister Nala, and brother Niko, are nicknamed " The Huggable Puppies " due to their affectionate, joyful natures. They are most likely Border Collie & Australian Shepherd mixes. They are spayed/neutered and approximately 6 months of age. We expect them to grow to medium size. The Huggable Puppies needed us when the rescue organization they were with folded due to the economy. Like the other puppies posted in recent days from the above-mentioned organization, they need more socialization, even with basic behaviors like walking on a leash. We believe they are smart and eager to please, so we expect them to progress quickly with good guidance. They are very good with other dogs. Update: Nala was adopted on July 23rd! Nala is an intelligent puppy with a bubbly personality. She is an apricot Standard Poodle, spayed female, approximately 8 months of age. She is still growing and well on her way to being large-sized. Besides regular grooming, Standard Poodles are known for being quite smart, so breed knowledge and/or experience is strongly preferred. Nala was surrendered to us because her owner was having difficult with her housetraining. There is no substitute for a stable routine with housetraining, which also takes patience. We have no doubt Nala will housetrain successfully and promptly once she is on a regular schedule that she can count on. Nala debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.
