Talk sweet and tell Dingle he's a cutie and watch his face light up with joy! Dingle is a handsome boy, a blend of Miniature Pinscher & Chihuahua, 4 years of age and neutered, crate-trained, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    Dingle needs a home without young children please (he fears them for reasons unknown).    He needed us when his previous owner abandoned Dingle with a friend and then refused him.

Pirate & Penzance are young swashbucklers with jolly spirits! The boys are reportedly Miniature Pinscher & Beagle mixes, 1-2 years of age and neutered, good with kids, housetrained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Pirate & Penzance are fine with other dogs, as long as they are fed separately. They cannot be around cats. Pirate & Penzance were at another shelter that ran out of space.  They are bonded for life. If separated, even by a gate, they will stand toward each other on their hind legs until reunited. Pirate's left eye is missing, but we have no information on what caused the loss. He has adjusted fine to life with one eye.

Buzzy , so bright-eyed at 13 years of age, is intrigued by everyone he meets.  He is young at heart and thoughtful, housetrained, and good with cats & dogs & older kids.  Buzzy is a Miniature PInscher, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  His previous owners cited their deteriorating health conditions as the reason for surrendering him.  Please share Buzzy's post to help find a hero!

Donald , Douglas , and Daphne , and their four siblings, need loving foster homes please!    These seven babies just arrived and we'd love to have all of them in gentle home environments today for socialization and nurturing care. If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person. The babies are reportedly Chihuahua & Miniature Pinscher mixes, about 7 weeks of age. Their mother is now safe too. Mom and babies were reportedly in a dreadful, loveless home.

Butch , now well and lifting his head high with hope, eagerly awaits someone he can love and count on forever.    He is an adorable youngster, a blend of Chihuahua & Miniature Pinscher, 1 year of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA . ** Caution to sensitive readers ** At the time of rescue Butch was found dying in a box that had been discarded in a park. He was suffering from parvo virus. We rushed him to an emergency animal hospital and it's veterinarians were able to save his life with extensive advanced care.    Thank you to the generous donors who made Butch's lifesaving treatment possible.

Humphries , a baby boy desperate for love, gives you puppy kisses when you tell him he's adorable. Just rescued and needing a foster hero please! Chloe and her 5 babies are among a group of 10 dogs just saved from an unstable home. If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Wayne. All five babies appear to be Australian Shepherds. We suspect either their father is an Australian Shepherd or that Chloe is nursing them as their surrogate mom instead of their biological mother. We simply don't know yet, but what is clear is that Chloe is nursing them and they need to remain with her. Please share this post to help. Thank you!

Anastasia , 16, must finally get to know what a loving home feels like. We rescued this tiny, 6-pound girl from another shelter to provide her with dental care and put her on a premium, probiotic food plan. Due to severe malnourishment, her skin and coat had deteriorated, and much of her hair had fallen out in large patches. Her caretakers suspect she hadn't been eating proper dog food for years. Lawrence beams when he knows you are proud of him and respectful.    He is an exceptionally cute Miniature Pinscher, 7 years of age, neutered boy, housetrained & crate-trained, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Lawrence was surrendered to us because the 10-year-old child in his previous home was reportedly taunting him cruelly (stealing treats and food from his mouth, and worse). The parent said the child had been reprimanded repeatedly for these behaviors, but was not improving, and feared for Lawrence's safety and the child's safety. We want to find Lawrence a responsible home where he never has to fear being teased or have things given to him taken away. Experienced, adult-only home needed, at least in the short run, as he improves with trust.

Emilia loves to be in gentle arms. Whatever she endured, including having her ears inexplicably and crudely cut off, has not ended her belief that people can be kind. Emilia is a sweet Miniature Pinscher, 6 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. She was found stray in a busy parking lot with no sign of responsible ownership.

Nancy reminds us that every single day with quality of life is precious.  She is a happy girl, a pretty Miniature Pinscher, 8 years of age and spayed, housetrained, good with dogs and kids, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  When Nancy's previous owner surrendered her she was in distress from heart failure, wheezing and struggling to breathe.  Nancy is now on daily medications and breathing well.  There was damage to her heart, so she requires a very leisurely lifestyle (free of strain, heavy exertion, or extreme heat).  Please help find Nancy a hero who will treasure the moments that she has left on Earth, whether it be months or years is unknown.

Texas cannot see you, so your kind touch and words mean the world to him.  He is a sweetheart baby boy and when he knows he is adored and treasured, he will cover your cheeks with puppy kisses.  Texas is 4 months of age and blind, a Chihuahua & Miniature Pinscher mix, neutered, great with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please very carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety, especially around pools, stairs, and other potential dangers.  We rescued him from another shelter.  Please help find a hero for Texas .

Desmond pleads for security and peace-of-mind. He was found near a very busy Vegas street with no sign of responsible ownership (no ID tag, no microchip ID, not neutered). His right eye was diagnosed as severely injured from an old trauma, but Desmond has long ago adjusted to living with one functional eye. Desmond is a tiny Miniature Pinscher & Chihuahua mix, about 7 years of age, and good with other sweet dogs.  He is now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Harley pleads for a loving home.  His previous owner died (and the person who inherited him was unable to keep him).  Harley is an endearing little gentleman, a Miniature Pinscher, about 8 years of age, neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Harley is terrific with other dogs and he is reportedly compatible with cats and older kids too.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for these remarkable new portraits to help Harley .

Spartan is a chipper, enthusiastic youngster adjusting beautifully to life on three legs and he debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He is a handsome Miniature Pinscher & Dachshund mix, 3 years of age and neutered, good with dogs, and reportedly housetrained and compatible with cats & children too. At the time of rescue last month, Spartan's hind right leg was crushed beyond repair.  His previous owner said that someone had fallen on him, but all we know for certain is that he sustained massive trauma to his leg. Spartan is very ready for his new life and hopes you will come meet and adopt him today! With your help, Petunia will soon finally know what a loving home feels like.    She is a bashful, pretty Miniature Pinscher, 5 years of age, a spayed girl, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    Petunia will likely do best in a home with another dog to help give her guidance.    We rescued her from another shelter which reported that her previous owners admitted to a loveless home without indoor access or socialization or training.    The extensive damage to the edges of Petunia's ears is apparently from insect bites and the sun.    We are eager to find her an amazing home where she will be showered with love and kindness.

Our two one-eyed sweethearts, Hoagie and Ruby , teamed up for this super cute portrait to help each other find loving, forever homes. Some of us think Travis has cartoon-cute eyes.  While others of us believe his eyes reflect the hardships this youngster has already endured.  At the time of rescue Travis was at another shelter, emaciated from starvation and suffering from a broken tooth.  We had his tooth removed and he is slowly, steadily regaining weight and energy.  Travis is a very affectionate Miniature Pinscher, 1 year of age, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Travis adores people and gets along well with other dogs.  Please ask for him by name when you visit.

Lexi is a magical, endearing girl who is ready for a loving, forever home. At the time of rescue she was confused and distraught, so we are celebrating her progress (thanks to compassionate volunteers and staff) with these new portraits courtesy of the wonderful Pet'ographique . Chloe is a bashful little lady who worries how she is supposed to fit into this crazy world.  She shines though with gentle, soft-spoken people and her self-esteem will continue to build beautifully in a stable, loving home environment.  Chloe is a beautiful, petite Miniature Pinscher, about 5 years of age, spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Chloe's nose and jaw lean right (likely from birth) and function normally.  We rescued her from another shelter that asked for our help because she was so shy.
