Ramon , tiny and adorable, gentle like a baby deer, yearns for someone to love. He is a Toy Xolo (Xoloitzcuintli, aka Mexican Hairless), 7 years of age, housetrained, good with dogs and older kids, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    Ramon was surrendered by his previous owners who cited their busy schedules as the reason.    He loves other gentle dogs and we strongly prefer adopting him to a home where he will have a sister or brother canine to bond with.

Alfonzo Guido Alfonzo & Guido are baby brothers with gentle spirits and they will melt your heart when you hold them or look into their pleading eyes. The boys have enormous, lifelong unconditional love to share with you. Alfonzo & Guido are Mexican Hairless Dog (Xoloitzcuintli) & Chihuahua mixes, now 3 months of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Their hair loss does not affect their general health.  Precautions need to be taken to prevent sunburns.  (We had a veterinary skin specialist confirm that their hair loss is congenital and natural.) The boys are so wonderful together that we strongly prefer adopting them as a pair for lifelong companionship.  We don't generally require this with puppies and kittens, but these puppies have an especially strong bond. Please puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.

Update: Cinnamon was adopted on July 25th! Cinnamon is a sensitive little lady with a tender heart. She is a rare breed -- "Xoloitzcuintle" -- sometimes referred to as Mexican Hairless. She is a spayed female, approximately 4-5 years of age. She has recovered well from severe depression. Upon rejection by her owner, she just shut down physically and emotionally. We placed her in foster care in a gentle home environment with other dogs. She slowly began to bloom again and she regained her will to live. Cinnamon's hairless skin needs extra moisturizing and protection from the sun, so please consult with your veterinarian for guidance. Besides a quiet home, we believe she will do best in a home with other sweet dogs. As with all of the animals, she needs a lifetime commitment for love and care. Cinnamon's heart is fragile -- let's be sure she never has to experience ultimate rejection again.
