Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Melanie craves reassurance. She is very confused about being homeless and worries. But when you gently comfort her, she begins to relax and shine. Melanie is a Heinz 57 with Retriever & Ridgeback (75 pounds), beautiful girl, spayed, 5 years of age, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    We rescued her from another shelter that asked for our help with her timidity.

Melanie loves giving hugs. She is an affectionate, polite young girl who wants you to be pleased with her.  Melanie is a beautiful tri-color (blue-grey/tan/white) Bully mix, 2 years of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Melanie is compatible with other dogs she knows and accepts. We believe she has the temperament to be terrific with children.  Melanie was found on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership.

Ashley, loves sitting in laps. Melanie, cuddly and purrs heartily. Scarlett, vocal and playful. Ashley and his sisters, Melanie and Scarlett , nicknamed "The Gone With The Wind Kittens" by their wonderful foster mom, are available for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  (Their brother, Rhett , has been adopted.)  The babies have been raised in nurturing foster care since their rescue.  They are 3 months of age and spayed/neutered.  Please kitten-proof your home carefully for their safety.

Melanie and a dozen other rescued motherless young kittens urgently need loving foster homes. Please visit Nevada SPCA in person before 4pm and ask for Lonnie if you can help two or more, for a foster commitment of approximately 2-3 months. Sharing their pictures is helping find foster homes! So we appreciate your help very much. Melanie is about 4 weeks of age. She and her siblings were reportedly found crying in distress in someone's backyard, their mother's whereabouts or well-being unknown.  More about foster parenting.
