"Who can I love?" Matthew , cuter than a teddy bear, forlorn from abandonment, pleads for someone to adore forever.    He is a Pomeranian mix with a unique appearance, 5 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    Matthew needed us when his previous owner moved out of the country.

Matthew , an adorable and gentle junior puppy, asks for someone to love. He is a Terrier mix, 9 months of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    Matthew is housetrained and good with dogs and kids.    He doesn't like loud noises and may thrive best in a calm home environment.    Matthew needed us when his previous owners moved away without him.    Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety.

Matthew , an outgoing youngster with a thoughtful nature, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is 1 year of age, compatible with most dogs, a Labrador Retriever & English Mastiff mix, now neutered.  We believe Matthew has the temperament to be great with kids too.  We rescued him in the nick of time from another shelter.

A gentle, humble soul asking for nothing but kindness.  Matthew is a Shih-Tzu, 12 years of age, neutered boy, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Matthew was the victim of heartbreaking neglect.  He was at another shelter that asked for our help.  He is partially blind in both eyes, so please take thorough safety precautions for him throughout your home and yard.  We had dental care provided for him and 11 of his teeth had to be extracted.  Special thanks to Hair of the Dog Spa for his grooming transformation. Matthew is a baby-faced young boy, adventurous and playful and bright-eyed for new experiences. He is an especially handsome medium-hair brown tabby (with a perfect "M" on his forehead), neutered, 2 years of age, ready for adoption today in Nevada SPCA's Cat Condo playrooms. Matthew relishes chasing string toys and laser dots (from laser pointer pens).  But he also delights in cuddling with you for a sweet catnap. Based on his interaction with visitors, we believe he will be great with kind children.

Update: Matthew was adopted on November 1st! Who can resist his charming, bright eyes?  They plead for affection, attention, and understanding. Matthew is a handsome, distinguished Himalayan feline who needed us when his previous owner lost the family home to foreclosure.  He is neutered, about 3 years young, and previously declawed. We cannot emphasize enough the importance of keeping cats safely indoors only, where they can be loved and protected.  Particularly for Matthew , without his claws he has few defenses for the many dangers that would await him outdoors. Matthew needs brushing, at least weekly, so please plan accordingly.  He is fine with most cats and very friendly with people.
