Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Brock's face reveals deep emotional pain.    He has known cruelty and ultimate rejection. He was found tied to a tree and abandoned. He flinches from fast hand movements. Brock is a sensitive Mastiff mix pleading for a gentle hero he can devote himself to loving.    He is 5 years of age, neutered, and ready for a hero adoption at Nevada SPCA . An adult-only home is required at this time due to his fear of new people.

Dorian's pleading eyes will melt your heart. But tell him you want a hug, or it's time to play, and his tail will begin whipping and wagging excitedly.  Dorian likes giving doggie kisses.  He is a unique blend of several breeds (Mastiff, Shepherd, more), 3 years young and neutered, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Dorian's left ear appears to have been severely torn (old injury). We have mixed information on whether he is compatible about other dogs and we continue to learn about him.  Dorian was at another shelter that asked for our help when they ran out of space for him.

Sable Stella Sable and Stella are adorable baby sisters with exceptionally affectionate natures.  Both girls are happiest when cuddling with people and dogs. Sable enjoys pulling the stuffing out of her stuffed animal toys.  Stella likes to throw her toys in the air and catch them before they hit the ground. The girls are likely Mastiff and Bully mixes with hazel eyes, 3 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  We expect them to grow to large size. Last month they were found tied to a gate and abandoned on ropes.  Since their rescue they have been lovingly raised and socialized in a wonderful foster home. The girls can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong love and companionship.

Stella , rescued and pregnant, needs a foster hero please! Stella was found tied to a tree, by wire around her neck and legs, in front of an abandoned house. She is remarkably sweet! Stella loves cuddling and rolling on her back for belly rubs. She is a Mastiff and Retriever mix, 1 year of age. The people who found her took her to their home for a few days and determined that she is housetrained, crate-trained, good with other big dogs and mature kids. Peyton had no interest in getting his picture taken this morning.  All he wanted to do was cuddle and get chest and throat rubs.  Peyton had been the victim of horrific violence (that included his ears being sliced off), but during his months of healing here he has improved wonderfully.  Peyton no longer dreads people, but instead longs to bond with them.  He is a large, 72-pound Mastiff mix, 1 year young, a neutered boy, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Peyton is housetrained & crate-trained and likes to play fetch.  He may be compatible with some dogs, but he needs an experienced, adult-only home for his continuing progress.
