Marcy

Marcy , a sweetheart junior puppy, longs to know when she meets people whether they approve of her.  She is a medium-size Heinz 57 with Retriever and stunning sable, chocolate, and gold coloration, about 9 months of age, spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Marcy from another shelter that asked for our help when they ran out of space for her.

Norman and his new family need a foster hero too please!

Norman , along with his surrogate mother Marcy, and two new siblings, urgently need a foster hero too. Please share this post to help. Norman , a lynx point kitten, was found motherless and in distress. His cries were heard by an adult cat named Marcy , who had just arrived at the shelter with her stillborn kitten. Marcy called out for Norman and signaled us with frantic scooping motions with her front paw to give him to her.    Marcy immediately began mothering him. Marcy has since adopted two more orphaned newborns as her own. All four need to remain together. If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lauren. Thank you.

When you compliment Marcy and tell her she's a lovely girl, she lifts her head and her eyes get big. We sometimes think her looks then translate as: "Really? Me?" Marcy is coming to understand that she is a wonder and worthy of immense love. She is a sensitive Chihuahua, 6 years of age and spayed, great with other dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    We rescued Marcy from another shelter that needed our help due to her timidity with strangers.

Adore me. Spoil me. Protect me.

Marcy craves affection and reassurance. Sit down beside her and she is likely to leap into your arms, purring and chirping in glee. Marcy also loves to be brushed and groomed and fussed over, and she is not shy when it is time to get treats. She is a young, petite medium-hair with white boots and a half-moustache and expressive whiskers.  She is spayed, 2 years young, and debuting for adoption today. Marcy needed us when her previous owner abandoned her.  Please visit and ask for her by name.
