Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Maddy , an affectionate young girl with bobcat-like good looks, needed us when her previous owner passed away.  She is a silver tabby (shaved medium-hair), 2 years of age and spayed, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Maddy likes lounging in your lap while you slowly brush her and talk sweet.

Jackie Maddy Moe Moe , and his sisters, Jackie and Maddy , are lovingly nicknamed "The Peppy Puppies" and they are now ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. These angels were just a week of age at the time of rescue.  Their mother, named Joy (who is also ready for adoption and pictured below), and two other adult dogs were rescued too.  Their previous owner said he "can't deal with them". We put The Peppy Puppies immediately into foster care, along with their mom, so that they could be raised and socialized in the comfort of a loving home environment. The Peppy Puppies are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for forever homes.  We believe they are a blend of Beagle, Dachshund, and Spaniel, so we expect them to grow to medium size. The babies can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair, or the trio, for lifelong companionship. Joy , their mother, is also now spayed, about 3 years of age, a Longhair Dachs...

Update: Maddy was adopted on December 11th! Maddy is beginning to trust us more each day and we are proud of her. Her progress will need to continue in her new home. We got a call about a dog, tied up in the middle of the night to a pole behind a building, who was found by a woman on her way into work.  The dog was reportedly barking and sneering and did not want anyone around. One of our staff went to the scene.  He found this beautiful German Shepherd there on a tiny leash and she was petrified.  She barked anxiously at him, but her tail was wagging the whole time, and he was able to successfully get her untied and on a proper leash. Fast forward two weeks, Maddy is now spayed and progressing well enough to debut for adoption today.  She is about 3 years of age.  German Shepherd knowledge and/or experience is needed for her adoption.
