Lorelei , 14, a gentle soul, politely and humbly asks for consideration.    Her previous owner turned her into another shelter (for reasons unknown) and she needs a loving home. Lorelei is a blend of Jack Russell Terrier & Rat Terrier and she is spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Lorelei is a kind young Staffordshire Terrier pleading for compassion. She is homeless and about 2 weeks away from giving birth. Lorelei was abandoned at a veterinary hospital and no further background information about her is known, except that she is 2 years of age and her ears have been crudely and cruelly cut off. The foster commitment for Lorelei and her babies is approximately 4 months. She needs a peaceful, comfortable home where she can birth and raise her puppies. Lorelei Dorothy Guinea pigs, like people, are very social animals and generally do best in pairs. These two baby girls, Lorelei & Dorothy , are sisters and soul-mates, strongly bonded and they want to remain together forever.  They are about 5 months of age, American breed, and we rescued them from another shelter.  Like rabbits, they need to live strictly indoors in our desert climate in order to stay cool and remain safe.  They do not tolerate heat well and can perish in the heat. Both Lorelei & Dorothy are on the shy side, so an experienced home is best for them to help the girls become more socialized. Please ask for them by name in Nevada SPCA's Lovebugs Room.
