Layla's favorite things include games of fetch and smothering people she adores with doggie kisses. She is a beaming girl, a tail-less Heinz 57 with distinguished ears, reportedly a blend of German Shepherd & Doberman Pinscher, 3 years young and spayed, housetrained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    Layla was at another shelter that asked for our help because she needs to find a one-dog household.

Agatha Jessie Layla Mabel 4 more of the rescued chinchillas -- Agatha , Jessie , Layla , and Mabel -- are ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    All four girls are bashful, but enjoy people, approximately 8 years of age, and they are recovering well from neglect.    We are seeking responsible, loving forever homes for them where they will never again be exploited for breeding. Layla , 12, a serene girl, pleads for a peaceful and loving home.  She is a Longhair Dachshund, good with other dogs, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Layla is easy-going, lovable, and humble.  We rescued her from another shelter that asked for our help.  Please help find someone wonderful for Layla .

Layla is a gentle young girl who is drawn to soft-spoken people and loves being adored.  She is a petite Chihuahua, 1 year of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Layla gets along very well with other sweet dogs.  Her background is mostly unknown, but she needed us when her previous owner became homeless.

Update: Layla was adopted on August 14th! Layla is an endearing puppy with a bubbly, inquisitive personality. She is a gorgeous Boxer, spayed female, about 8 months young. She debuts for adoption today. Layla needed us because her previous owner said he worked too long hours to care for her properly. Besides enjoying other dogs, she reportedly is housetrained (with a doggie door), crate-trained, and compatible with kind, mature children. Boxer knowledge and/or experience is preferred for Layla's adoption.

Update: Layla was adopted on May 31st! At the time of rescue Layla was very shy, scared she was about to be hit again. But tender touching and soothing voices from staff and volunteers have helped her realize she is now safe and her future is full of hope and promise. Layla is a precious little Yorkshire Terrier, spayed, and approximately 6 years of age. Emerging from her shell, she has come to adore human attention and enjoy playtimes. Layla needs an experienced, gentle home where her progress can continue. She debuts for adoption today. Please budget extra for regular grooming care.

Update: Caramel was adopted on July 27th! Caramel is an incredibly adorable puppy who is learning how loving and attentive people can be. Her future with a very caring owner will give her self-esteem and peace-of-mind. She and her mother and father and brother were all abandoned at once by their previous "caretaker". It was clear they were neglected and unloved. Her father and brother were sick with the deadly parvo virus (and they are receiving intensive medical treatment). Caramel and her mother Layla avoided coming down with the disease. They are bonded and we would love for them to go home together, forever, but this is not required. Caramel is a Maltese mix, spayed female, approximately 8 months of age. Please plan on regular grooming for her, and budget extra accordingly. An experienced home is required for her due to the past abuse and helping her overcome any lingering emotional issues from her past. Caramel and Layla are two of more than a dozen dogs debuting...
