Ferrari , an earnest baby boy with a playful spirit, seeks someone he can love and adore forever.    He is a Labrador Retriever mix puppy, 5 months of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Ferrari had ear infections at the time of rescue and his previous owner said he was not adjusting to their home.    Please be committed to kind guidance and having patience with animals adjusting to your lifestyle, especially babies like Ferrari , who completely depend on your understanding and compassion.

Barney perceives every day with people as a wonderful day!    He loves meeting and bonding with volunteers and staff, hanging on their every kind word of praise and each loving touch. Barney is great with kids and adults, but reportedly spent years of his life alone and lonely in a backyard. Please welcome him indoors as a valued member of a forever family. We are helping in the search for Abe, a Labrador Retriever mix adopted from Nevada SPCA in 2012. His owners call him Tyler and he is missing. Please let us know (nevadaspca@aol.com) if you spot or capture Abe/Taylor so he can be safely returned to his family. Abe escaped from a pet boarding facility near the shelter (Decatur & Russell area in the southwest part of the Vegas valley). Thank you for your help and please share!

Jude , a youngster recovering from cruelty, needs someone who believes in his goodness and potential. He fears people, but at the same time so desperately wants their approval and kindness. Jude is a Heinz 57 with Labrador Retriever, 1 year of age, neutered boy, housetrained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    He is good with some dogs, but picky about others.    Jude reportedly feels safe around mature kids and likes playing ball with them.    We love his dimpled smile and golden eyes.    Please share Jude's picture to help find him a lifelong hero.

Lillian is recovering from starvation and cruelty.    She screams if you reach for her too fast.    She is eating heartily, premium food, and climbing up with body tissue and energy from the 28 pounds she weighed at the time of rescue (from another shelter). Lillian is a medium-size Heinz 57, perhaps with Beagle & Retriever, 1 year young and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    She had reportedly been out on the streets, trying to survive on her own.    Please share Lillian's post to help find an experienced, adult-only home and lifelong hero.

A man spotted Travis panting under a scrawny bush in the desert trying to get some shelter from the 110-degree heat. He knew Travis would perish if he failed to help him immediately. We traced his microchip ID, but he was refused by his previous owners (who said they did not know how he ended up abandoned in the desert). Travis deserves so much better. He is a playful, very good-natured youngster, a Labrador Retriever mix, 2 years of age, neutered, and good with other large dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    We believe Travis has the temperament to be exceptional with kids. He enjoys fetching toys and shows signs of housetraining.

Romper has the vibrancy of a young puppy and overflows with enthusiasm for every new person and activity.    He cannot wait to begin his new life! Romper is a slender Labrador Retriever mix (45 pounds), 1 year young, a neutered boy, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    We rescued him from another shelter that was concerned about his high energy level.    Romper may be too active for toddlers, but we believe he will be terrific with playful kids.

Now healed, Mitch overflows with sunshine and hope!  He likes laying at your feet and smiling. Mitch is a Labrador Retriever mix, 5 years of age, neutered boy, good with other dogs, triumphantly debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. At the time of rescue Mitch was at another shelter and injured. He had sustained massive trauma across his body from an unknown cause. Now, almost two months later, Mitch is feeling good and bright in spirit. Please come meet and consider this happy boy.

Hawk loves kids of all ages! He is a sporty, fun-loving youngster, a medium-size Heinz 57 with Labrador Retriever & Sporting breeds, under 2 years of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA (www.nevadaspca.org).    Hawk is also compatible with other dogs and housetrained. Bright Eyes is attracted to others with jolly spirits and she loves sharing her smiles.  She is young-at-heart at 10 years of age, a spayed girl, Labrador Retriever mix, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We believe Bright Eyes has the temperament to be great with kids.  We rescued her from another shelter that ceased its adoption program.

Gracie's emotions are easy to read in her expressive face. Her eyes are filled with warmth when she knows she is the center of attention. Gracie is a Labrador Retriever mix, plump at 94 pounds, a spayed girl, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    She was at another shelter and needed our help.

Paladin's jovial and comical nature is beginning to emerge as he continues healing.    He was at another shelter that asked for our help due to extensive new and old wounds resulting from dog attacks. (What he specifically endured is unknown.) Paladin is a friendly Labrador Retriever mix, 2 years young, a neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    He needs a one-dog household (because even seeing another dog can agitate him and make him fearful).

Robbie beams when he knows you are happy with him. He longs for acceptance and wants to devote himself to kind people who will accept his unconditional devotion. Robbie is a young Labrador Retriever mix with tuxedo coloring, 3 years of age and neutered, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He is housetrained and good with other dogs. Robbie was at another shelter that asked for our help. (His previous family reportedly engaged in a lot of screaming, which caused him to hide under the bed, and the children taunted him and pulled on his tail.)    Please help find a responsible, stable loving home for Robbie .

Cassie & Valerie , friendly young soul-mates, debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. They are wonderfully friendly and eager to love. We rescued them from another shelter and their history is otherwise unknown. They wanted to jump out of the truck at the same time and then walked into Nevada SPCA shoulder-to-shoulder, reassured at each others' side. Both are medium-sized, 1-2 years of age, and spayed. Cassie is an Aussie Cattle Dog mixed with many other breeds. Valerie is a small Labrador Retriever mix.     Please help us find a terrific forever home where they will be together forever.

Baron is 100 pounds of exuberance and fun! He is a young boy, eager for adventure, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    Baron is a Labrador Retriever mix, 1 year of age and neutered, and picky about which dogs he likes. He needs an active lifestyle and basic training.    We rescued Baron from another shelter that asked for our help due to his high energy level.

Nicholas is a remarkably cute and engaging baby boy triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. You may remember his siblings who were adopted in late April. They were rescued as motherless newborns and lovingly raised in nurturing foster care. Nicholas had "puppy strangles" (juvenile cellulitis) and needed veterinary care.  He is now almost 5 months of age, neutered, well, good with other dogs, and very ready to begin his new life!  Nicholas is a Labrador Retriever mix (with other Sporting breeds) and we believe he will grow to large size.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety.

Axel is a cute junior puppy who does not want to miss out on any fun.  Sometimes when he rests he wears this worried expression, like he's watching the parade marching away without him.  We look forward to the day when Axel realizes he is loved and safe in a forever home.  Axel is a Labrador Retriever mix, about 9 months of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  He enjoys playing with other dogs, and perhaps the more social his new home, the better.

Reggie loves hugs!  He has the innocence and youthful spirit of a junior puppy, but he is actually about 6 years of age.  Reggie is a cute Labrador Retriever mix, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  An active or semi-active lifestyle may be ideal for him.  Reggie was at another shelter that asked for our help.  His background is unknown, except that he had to be confiscated by officers from his previous home and he had numerous small injuries (that have since healed).
