Danielle

Image
Danielle , 11, is accepting care-taking and will join volunteers and staff for walks.  Until her capture last week, she had reportedly been living in a desert wash for at least a full year, surviving on scraps of food she could find and that people left out for her.  Danielle's microchip ID traced to a previous owner, but this person refused her.  Danielle is a Kelpie mix, spayed, good with other dogs, and ready for a hero adoption at Nevada SPCA .

Sally

Image
Sally is a lighthearted junior puppy hoping to steal your heart.  Every time you say something nice her tail wags excitedly, plus we also like watching her wag her tail happily when she's enjoying her meals or drinking water.  Sally is a Kelpie mix (perhaps with Retriever and Shepherd, though we think she will only grow to Kelpie size), 8 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. She enjoys cats, dogs, and kids.  Sally was found abandoned near an old highway with no sign of responsible ownership.

Perhaps royalty is a state of mind, not a financial condition.

We named Empress for her polite, regal manners -- which include crossing her paws elegantly while she rests -- and great intelligence.  She is a beautiful medium-size blend of many breeds, likely including Australian Cattle Dog and/or Kelpie.  Empress is about 4 years of age, great with other dogs, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Her background is almost entirely unknown, except that she had been abandoned in a construction yard with so sign of responsible ownership.
