Jude , an endearing youngster needing a forever home, bonds strongly with those he knows and trusts.  He is a good-looking German Shepherd mix, 3 years of age, housetrained & crate-trained, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Jude is good with larger dogs, but cannot be around cats, small dogs, or other small animals.

Jude , a youngster recovering from cruelty, needs someone who believes in his goodness and potential. He fears people, but at the same time so desperately wants their approval and kindness. Jude is a Heinz 57 with Labrador Retriever, 1 year of age, neutered boy, housetrained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    He is good with some dogs, but picky about others.    Jude reportedly feels safe around mature kids and likes playing ball with them.    We love his dimpled smile and golden eyes.    Please share Jude's picture to help find him a lifelong hero.

Jude and Julius Update: Jude and Julius were adopted on December 30th! We are so pleased that these two babies have such light-hearted, affectionate personalities. Especially since both had to overcome a life-threatening disease at the time of rescue.  They were sick with the parvo virus and their previous owner could not or would not provide the medical care for them necessary to save their lives, nor even make a donation to help us save them. We rushed them into emergency medical care at a local veterinary clinic, and after extensive treatment, both made full recoveries. Today, Jude and Julius , who are sister and brother, triumphantly debut for adoption. They are spayed/neutered, about 4 months of age, and reportedly Cane Corso and Bully mixes, so we expect them to possibly grow to large size. Update: Jude was adopted on January 30th! Tender-hearted Jude has a gentle, humble spirit. Exceptionally timid with new people and in new situations, she nevertheless is making some progress with confidence, trying to overcome the damage done to her soul by an abuser. Jude is a very pretty, medium-sized Heinz 57 with Shepherd, spayed female, about 5-6 years of age. Jude is compatible with other dogs and kind, older children. She is reportedly partially housetrained, but since her previous owner banished her to living predominantly outdoors, which is unacceptable on many levels, she may need your guidance and a steady routine to return to full housetraining.
