Jericho

Image
Jericho is a soulful young boy who has healed well. He is very loving and outgoing with people he adores.    Jericho is a Chihuahua, 2 years of age, neutered and good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He was at another shelter that asked for our help due to injuries and bruising across his body from physical trauma. There were no puncture wounds or crushed bones (so no consistency with an animal attack or vehicle collision, respectively), and fears were that he had been beaten by human hand (but this remains unconfirmed). Regardless of what Jericho endured, he still believes in human goodness. He wants to know peace and serenity, belonging to someone who will always keep him safe and loved.

Jericho, Penn, Porgy, Sylvia, Toby & Ty

Jericho Penn Porgy Sylvia Toby Ty We rescued these six Chihuahuas yesterday from another shelter. This is the most difficult time of year for animals (fireworks, extreme heat, motherless newborns, pregnant animals, vacations, more), so the shelters and rescue organizations are in overdrive helping each other.  Jericho , Penn , Porgy , Sylvia , Toby , and Ty have widely varying personalities, but all have loving natures and long for the stability of a responsible forever home. All six debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Jericho , neutered boy, 2 years young, sporty & fun-loving, good with other dogs. Penn , neutered boy, 1 year young, 6-pound cutie, good with other dogs. Porgy , neutered boy, 3 years young, cheery & radiant, good with other dogs. Sylvia , spayed girl, 5 years of age, tender-hearted and humble, good with other dogs. Toby , neutered boy, 3 years young, affectionate and calm-natured, good with other dogs. Ty ...

Update: Jericho was adopted on January 21st! Jericho is a brilliant, well behaved, adventurous boy. He is apparently an Australian Shepherd & Border Collie mix. He is neutered, about 6 years young, and ready for adoption today. Jericho reportedly needed us because his military family had to move to base housing and he was not able to join them. He is full of love for everyone! He adores dogs, cats, and children. Jericho is also reportedly housetrained (with a doggie door) and crate-trained. Jericho lives for joining family activities, especially a game of throwing and retrieving frisbees.
