Ryan , a junior puppy starving for attention and adoration, needs someone to dote on him and nurture his spirit.    His dreadful past reportedly included days spent alone locked in a bathroom without any interaction with people or dogs. Ryan needs you to sit by him while he eats. He will cry if he senses you are displeased with him. Jaylen cautiously looks up at new people pleading for their kindness and acceptance.    When he knows you are pleased with him, his posture improves and he prances at your side for a walk. Jaylen is a young, medium-size blend of many breeds (just 38 pounds), a neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    He was at another shelter that asked for our help due to his severe trembling in fear.    We placed Jaylen with a confident dog to share his kennel and his trembling ceased immediately.

Cody , a sporty youngster, loves playing with kids and dogs!  His zest for life is admirable and he relishes every fun moment.  Cody is a medium-size blend of many breeds, 2 years of age and neutered, housetrained, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .

Katie seems shocked to hear praise. She looks around to see if you are really praising someone else. When she realizes the kind words are intended for her, she slowly steps forward and edges her way toward your lap for a cuddle. Katie is shy and lovable, a medium-size Heinz 57 with Shepherd, 9 years of age, good with other dogs, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    She is 1 of 33 animals rescued so far from a collapsed animal organization in northern Arizona and her background is otherwise unknown. Major Tom , 15, was found disoriented on the side of a road with no sign of responsible ownership.  He is a small, earnest boy, a blend of many breeds (Heinz 57), neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Major Tom's eyes are full of hope and he deeply appreciates every kind word, touch, and action.  Please help find him a hero.

Vicky , an affectionate young girl, pleads for someone she can devote herself to forever.  She is a medium-size Heinz 57 with expressive eyes, likely a Boxer mix, and she is 2 years of age, good with other dogs, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Vicky was reportedly abandoned on the streets and captured by a neighbor.  She deserves better. We want to find her a stable home where she will be treasured.

Amy offers a bright smile to everyone she meets.  Tell her she's sweet and she will stroll to you for a hug.  Amy is wonderfully friendly and amiable, a medium-size Heinz 57 with Aussie, 1 year young and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued her from another shelter that ran out of space.

Marcy , a sweetheart junior puppy, longs to know when she meets people whether they approve of her.  She is a medium-size Heinz 57 with Retriever and stunning sable, chocolate, and gold coloration, about 9 months of age, spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Marcy from another shelter that asked for our help when they ran out of space for her.

Bubba , an earnest junior puppy, loves to swim, snack on carrots, snuggle, and go for walks. Bubba is an attractive blend of many breeds, perhaps including Dane, Mastiff, and Dutch Shepeherd, 10 months of age. He is housetrained & crate-trained, good with other large dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Bubba reportedly gets very anxious around young children and gets troubled when they cry, yell, or play too boisterously. An adult-only home is ideal for him, or a home where all of the children are much older and very gentle and mature.

Connie , a devoted junior puppy, delights in giving warm hugs.  She is housetrained, good with dogs and kids, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Connie is 7 months of age, a blend of many breeds (perhaps including Retriever & Shepherd).  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety. She needed us when her previous owner moved to a new home without her.

Jewels , a sparkling treasure, hopes you will let her bless you with her unconditional devotion.    She is a beautiful spirit, a well-behaved Heinz 57 with Shepherd (and possibly Rottweiler), 7 years of age and spayed, housetrained & crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Jewels is great with cats, dogs, and kids. She needed us when her previous owner became homeless.

Bradford , triumphantly recovering from extreme pain and despair, has remarkably improved, physically and emotionally.    He is a young, small Heinz 57 with Jack Russell Terrier, good with other dogs, and he is now neutered and ready for a hero adoption at Nevada SPCA. At the time of rescue, Bradford was hairless and his skin was so inflamed and infected that it hurt for anyone to even touch him gently. He had noncontagious mange, which his previous owners did not have treated, resulting in severe bacterial infections throughout his skin. Bradford has learned that it no longer hurts to be touched. Following 8 weeks of treatment, his infections are gone, his skin continues healing, and he is re-growing hair. (There are some patches of scar tissue that may never re-grow hair.) He asks for a very kind hero to help him continue reaching his full loving potential.

Ben is a beaming youngster and he is terrific with children, adults, cats, and dogs, plus housetrained and crate-trained too. Ben is a handsome blend of many sporty breeds, slender in build, with a curly-Q tail, 2 years of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    He needed us due to his previous owner's long-term hospitalization.    Please visit and ask for Ben by name.

Kenneth , a sporty baby boy, enjoys hugging your legs, playing in water, and chasing empty water bottles (without lids).  He is 3 months of age, a Heinz 57 with Hound & Sporting breeds, good with cats and dogs and mature kids, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Kenneth was surrendered because his previous owners had more dogs than their landlord allowed.

Renegade is a radiant young boy overflowing with hope.   He is terrific with other dogs too and enjoys their companionship.  Renegade is a medium-size blend of many breeds, including Mini Bully, 1 year of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Renegade from another shelter that asked for our help due to running out of space.  Please come meet this fun-loving boy!

The calming power of a whisper led to this big, relaxed smile on Madison this morning. Scarred by severe cruelty, Madison fears people want to hurt her. She freezes in place and hopes nobody notices her. But she lets us touch her and sit beside her. When we whispered reassurances that she's safe and never to be hurt again, Madison dropped her guard and her eyes sparkled. Madison is 1 year young and full of tremendous loving potential.
