Ginger and her siblings rescued from a dumpster.

An angel just saved from horrific cruelty!    Her four siblings are now safe too, but need a foster home please for a couple of weeks. 45 rescued motherless kittens and counting urgently need foster care. Please share this post. If you can help foster, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Debra. Ginger (pictured) and her siblings were discovered in a discarded cardboard box inside an apartment complex dumpster. A woman and her young son were walking by and heard their screams for help.

Ginger shines when she knows you are happy with her. The victim of abuse, she deeply worries that strangers may disapprove of her and intend harm. Ginger has enormous loving potential and she debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    She is a German Shepherd mix, blended with many other breeds, 3 years young and spayed.    We rescued her from another shelter that asked for our help and don't know yet whether she is compatible with other dogs.    Please help find a peaceful, stable forever home for Ginger .

Love us dearly and for our entire lives.

Please puppy-proof your home and yard carefully for their safety. Since their rescue as motherless newborns earlier this summer, they have been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home.

Chewie Ginger Macy Max Pansy Romeo Violet At the time of rescue, Alicia , pictured below, was at another shelter with 10 puppies, just 3 days old.  We placed them into loving foster care for nurturing and socialization. Seven of Alicia's babies are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for adoption.  Three more remain in foster care for a bit longer.  Alicia herself, a young Chocolate Labrador Retriever & Weimaraner mix, will be ready for adoption soon too in the days to come.  (The puppies' father(s) is/are unknown.) Their wonderful foster dad describes the babies as follows: Chewie , a baby boy.  He is very independent and strong-willed.  He loves to explore his surroundings.  He listens well and needs lots of praise. Ginger , a baby girl.  She has spurts of high energy playfulness followed by long moments of down time and she can be a picky eater. Macy , a baby girl.  She is very ...

How can I find someone who will never reject me?

Ginger is a smart, very sweet, and devoted girl with heart-melting eyes.  She is an Australian Cattle Dog mix, spayed, about 4 years of age, reportedly housetrained.  We rescued this sweetheart from another shelter.  Ginger cannot understand why she became homeless (due to her previous family's financial collapse).

They say I am as cute as Benji.

Ginger has a showgirl's personality, she craves attention and adoration. She is a sweet Terrier mix, medium size, spayed, about 3 years young, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. We rescued Ginger from another shelter.  She had been surrendered there supposedly due to being aggressive with other dogs.  But we have had her mingle with several dogs without incident. She is reportedly housetrained and she needs regular brushing of her medium-length coat. Please ask for this superstar by name when you visit and spend time with her in our adoption courtyard.

Can I rely on you to give me a lifelong home?

Update: Ginger was adopted on July 30th! Ginger needed rescue when her previous owner lost the family home to foreclosure. She is a very loving, affectionate girl who likes to lean on you for extra adoration. Ginger is a gorgeous Golden Retriever with a red-tinted coat, spayed female, about 5 years of age. Besides being compatible with other dogs, she reportedly enjoys mature children. Ginger debuts for adoption today.

We never want to feel unwanted again.

Update 2: Ray was adopted on August 16th! Update: Ray is available for adoption. Ginger and Ron were adopted on July 24th! Ginger and her brothers Ray and Ron are adorable, super sweet and cute puppies debuting for adoption today. They are beautiful blends of several breeds. It is too soon to guess well, but we suspect they may be a combination of Jack Russell Terrier, Beagle, or Bully. We expect them to grow to medium size. They are spayed/neutered and 3 months young. Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection. These babies needed us when their previous owners said they "don't want them". Ginger, Ray, and Ron can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair, or the trio, for lifelong love and companionship.

Please learn hand signals with me.

Update: Ginger Anne was adopted on May 21st! Ginger Anne is a beautiful jewel, inside and out. She is a Bull Terrier, spayed female, two years young, and she adores people. She is deaf and reportedly prone to ear infections. We have mixed reports on whether she has the slightest of hearing or has no hearing at all. Regardless, she needs an owner willing to take the extra precautions to keep her home & yard environments safe for her. Beyond puppy-proofing the house for her, this also includes good communication, beginning with consistent hand signals and body language. The staff and trainers can give you tips to explore and research this further. Ginger Anne debuts in Adoptions today. She is fine with mature and kind children and she is reportedly housetrained. Bull Terrier knowledge and/or experience is required for her adoption. Please come meet this sweet angel.
