We are trying to convince Geraldine that her life is going to get much better. Soft voices and chin scratches help bring her out of her shell. Geraldine , devastated by her surrender (previous owners said they did not have enough time for her), rolls up like a hedgehog and refuses eye contact at first.    She is a lovely, gentle Snowshoe, 1 year of age and spayed, find with other cats, and ready for a hero to adopt her at Nevada SPCA .    Please plan for plenty of quality time and cuddling with Geraldine daily to help her feel secure and bloom.

Bumper , Geraldine , and Mocha are 3 more of the 20 rescued, sweetheart kittens ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Bumper , an Abyssinian mix, 4 months of age, likes hiding under blankets and then springing out suddenly to surprise you with his agility. Geraldine , a torbie tabby, 3 months of age, favors ribbon toys and long cuddling sessions. Mocha , also a torbie tabby, 3 months of age, gracefully climbs cat towers and finds the coziest places for her naps.

Dallas Dori Geraldine Sam Tommy These five young Yorkshire Terrier mixes -- Dallas , Dori , Geraldine , Sam , Tommy -- needed us when their previous owner passed away. All are very sweet and affectionate. Geraldine is the most timid and she needs an especially gentle and peaceful home environment. All five are now spayed/neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Dallas and Geraldine are girls, 2 years of age. Dori is a girl, 1 year of age.
