Francine is 1 of 10 rescued kittens ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. She enjoys playing with other cats and small toys. Since her rescue she has been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home. Please kitten-proof your home for Francine's safety. Francine is 3 months of age and spayed.

Friendly reminder: Please keep companion animals indoors, but away from the chocolates and candy and strangers who come to your door trick-or-treating. A suggestion: A baby gate (under $10 at major department stores) at your front door may help keep your animals from running out when children ring the bell, or keep them from lunging at kids yelling "Boo!" when you open the door. Let's take this opportunity to showcase Francine , who debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is an inquisitive, adorable Miniature Poodle, spayed female, about 4 years of age. Update: Francine was adopted on July 3rd! Francine yearns for a stable, loving, gentle home environment. But she must wonder if she ever dares trusting people again. Someone hurt her physically and emotionally, quick movements scaring her that she is about to get hit or kicked again. Francine is a precious, older girl, most likely a Toy Poodle mix. She is spayed, about 9 years of age, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. We rescued Francine from another shelter, so we do not have much background information on her. We know she needs regular grooming care and we know she has a low-grade heart murmur (but medication is not needed at this time). Francine enjoys other sweet and friendly dogs.
