Fergie , 12, a gentle girl best suited for a leisurely lifestyle, favors tender moments sitting by you, short walks, and lots of cuddling.  She is a Labrador Retriever mix, good with other dogs, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Fergie was abandoned by her previous owner and brought to the shelter by a neighbor/friend.  Please help find her a stable, responsible home for her golden years.

Fergie is a beautiful pearl, and thanks to the compassion of volunteers and staff her personality is sparkling and she is reaching her loving potential.  At the time of her rescue months ago, Fergie was emaciated and starving, and quite wary of people.  Now, she is ready to bless someone with her unconditional devotion.  Fergie is a butterscotch & white Bully mix, 3 years young and spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for so beautifully capturing her spirit in these brand new portraits.

Fergie is so grateful for a tender touch and kind words of comfort that she will cover your chin and cheeks with doggie kisses.  She is a lovable young girl, a Bully mix, 3 years of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Fergie was found last month in poor condition near one of the busiest intersections in Las Vegas with no sign of responsible ownership.  She had missed many meals, so she may have been trying to survive on her own on the streets for some time.  Fergie is protective of food, but this behavior can diminish in time in an experienced home where she comes to understand that she will never again know starvation and desperate hunger.  Please help us find her a wonderful, responsible, loving forever home.

Update: Fergie was adopted on October 31st! Fergie is a gorgeous, intelligent, and sensitive youngster debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. She is a Queensland Heeler, spayed, approximately 18 months of age. Fergie feels most secure around women. She is wary of men until she knows they are gentle. We rescued her from another shelter, so her background is unknown. But we suspect she was the victim of at least mild abuse (physical or screaming). Besides a quieter, experienced home, Fergie will do best with an owner who is knowledgeable about herding breeds (who are known for their intelligence and need for mental stimulation).
