Duncan

Duncan is fascinated by human behavior, laser pointer toys, and boxes.  He is an exceptionally handsome Snowshoe, 1 year young and neutered, good with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Duncan was needed after his previous owner abandoned him at a veterinary clinic (for reasons unknown).  Please visit and ask for Duncan by name.

Duncan is fascinated by objects and toys. Call his name and he'll like come running to see what excitement you have discovered. Duncan is a snow-white shorthair, 6 years of age and neutered, good with cats and mellow dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.   Duncan needed us because a member of his previous family thought he or she had suddenly become allergic to him.

Duncan is terrified of men, but runs to women and stands on their legs pleading for comfort and safety. He loves when the women volunteers and staff cuddle and reassure him. Duncan is a young Dachshund, 2 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    We rescued him from another shelter that asked for our help due to his timidity.

Duncan worries that people disapprove of him.    Once reassured that you are pleased with him, he begins to calm and sit closer to you.    It's heartbreaking he has such little self-esteem at 7 years of age, but it's certainly not too late for him to come to realize that he is magnificent and worthy of love. Duncan is a small Chocolate Labrador Retriever mix, neutered boy, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    We rescued him from another shelter.     Please help find a hero for Duncan .

I want to share my happiness with you.

Duncan is a luminous young boy with a sparkling personality and the brightest of smiles.  He is an Australian Shepherd mix with stunning coloring, 1 year of age, neutered, good with dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Duncan loves to give hugs and doggie kisses!  At the time of rescue he was on a highway.

I love sleeping on a pillow in a basket under a cozy blanket.

Update: Duncan was adopted on January 21st! Duncan is hoping for a nurturing person who will pamper and cherish him every day. He is a senior Pekingese, homeless at 12 years of age due to his previous owners moving into an apartment that does not allow dogs. Duncan is neutered, housetrained (with a doggie door), compatible with cats and dogs and mature children, and he debuts for adoption today. He likes taking short walks and playing in water.  (If his ears look a bit wet in this portrait it is because he had just been playing with his water bowl.) Pekingese knowledge and/or experience is preferred for his adoption.  Please plan on regular professional grooming care for him. Adopting a senior can provide untold emotional rewards to you and they have just as much unconditional love as puppies .
