Diamond unfurls when she hears gentle cooing, curious to see who is talking sweet to her.  She is a gentle young girl, a hedgehog, 18 months of age, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Diamond needed us when her previous owner reportedly moved into a dormitory for summer school where animals are forbidden.

Diamond , now well, blooms with energy, hope, and affection!    Her favorite things include close cuddling and playing ball. Diamond is a cream & white Bully mix with adorable freckles, 5 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Diamond has been raised with cats, kittens, and dogs in a wonderful foster home. At the time of rescue Diamond was in peril with parvo virus. We rushed her into emergency care at an animal hospital for extensive treatment. Thank you very much to the generous donors who made saving her life possible!

Diamond needs to know who she can devote herself to forever. She is a beautiful spirit. She is housetrained, good with other dogs, and she enjoys playing fetch.   Diamond is a Queensland Heeler, 4 years of age and spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    She needed us due to her previous owner's financial hardship.

At the time of rescue Diamond's hind left leg was in peril from an open wound and injuries caused by a tight rubber band put on her by a child, unbeknownst to her parents.  The family said they could not afford to provide her with veterinary care and surrendered her to us.  Veterinarians were able to save Diamond's leg and her open wound has now healed.  Diamond triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. She is a junior puppy, a Shih-Tzu & Toy Poodle mix with a very loving nature, 11 months of age and spayed, and good with other sweet dogs. Please puppy-proof your home and yard, and also plan and budget for regular professional grooming.

Diamond is a precious gem, now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  He is a Yorkshire Terrier, about 7 years of age, neutered, and great with other friendly dogs.  Diamond was found in Henderson a few miles south of The Strip on Las Vegas Boulevard in neglected, matted condition.  We traced his microchip ID to a previous owner, but she said she had given him away five years ago and had no further interest in him.  Diamond is now cleaned and groomed and ready for a fresh start with a responsible, stable person (or couple) who will cherish him as a valued member of their forever home.

Ruby, Stone, and Diamond Update 2: Ruby was adopted on October 23rd! Update: Diamond and Stone were adopted on October 22nd! These three angels are nicknamed the " Gemstone Puppies " due to their sparkling temperaments. Sisters Ruby and Diamond , and their brother Stone (pictured in the middle), are adorable, playful babies debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. They are very cuddly puppies and enjoy snuggling with you for reassurance and comfort. We rescued them and their mother, Crystal (photographed below), a Chiweenie (Chihuahua and Dachshund).  We do not know who their father is, but all indications suggest they will remain small like their mother. Crystal has already been spayed and adopted.  Now, the Gemstone Puppies are spayed/neutered and ready for forever homes too.  They are approximately 3 months of age. Update: Diamond was adopted on July 20th! Indeed a beautiful jewel, Diamond offers priceless unconditional love and joy. She is a fun-loving, outgoing, gregarious baby girl with a playful nature. Diamond is a chocolate & white Bully mix with hazel eyes, spayed female, 10 months of age. She is "90%" housetrained, 100% crate-trained, and reportedly compatible with other dogs and kind children. Surely Diamond can challenge the thinking of those who fear the Bully breeds. She is only dangerous if you don't like getting licked on the face. Also, Diamond is reportedly afraid of her water bowl, so it is important to be creative to ensure she has plenty of access to fresh water. (Please be willing to try a range of different bowl types at various places in your home.) Diamond debuts for adoption today.
