Cody worries he is displeasing and unwanted. But when you reassure him that he is wonderful and a good boy, he breaks out a warm smile and his eyes sparkle. Cody is a young Yellow Labrador Retriever debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He is housetrained and good with other dogs.    Cody was at another shelter that asked for our help because of the abuse he experienced in a previous home.    We believe gentle voices and a very steady lifestyle routine will help him continue improving and reaching his full potential.

Cody , a 5-pound lovebug, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is a chocolate & white Longhair Chihuahua mix, 1 year young, neutered boy, housetrained & crate-trained, good with cats, dogs, and mature kids.  Cody needed us due to his previous owners' financial hardship. Due to his tiny size, please take very thorough safety precautions for him throughout your home and yard.

How am I supposed to fit into this scary world?

Cody is a very sensitive young boy who yearns for peace-of-mind.  Once he trusts you he melts in your arms for reassurance.  Cody is a small Heinz 57, perhaps with Spaniel, and a unique cream-colored cotton-ball appearance, about 1 year of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Cody is good with other dogs and he responds well to gentle people.  We rescued him from another to treat his ear infection.  Cody is now healed and ready for a loving, forever home.

I loved them unconditionally, but they decided I could just be someone else's "problem"?

Cody was at another shelter where he did not qualify for adoption because of blindness and bad teeth.  (His previous owners had dropped him off there when they moved away.) He is a very gentle, affable little guy, a Yorkshire Terrier, about 6 years of age, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Cody gets along well with other dogs and seems to adapt very quickly to new spaces, learning the lay-outs of the areas around him. We had dental cleaning done for Cody and he's now ready to find a loving, forever home. Please help us find Cody a hero so he is never failed again.

They left me to die alone in the backyard.

Update: Cody was adopted on August 31st! It is easy to fall in love with Cody . He is an exceptionally sweet, radiant boy with a delightful personality. Cody is a Yorkshire Terrier, neutered, about 4 years of age, and he debuts for adoption today. He was tossed to one of our board members in a parking lot. His face was encrusted with dried blood and puss, and his left eye was severely, painfully infected. His previous owner told us that he breeds Yorkshire Terriers and that he had bred Cody . But his brother breeds too, a large dog breed (Rottweilers), and one of them had attacked Cody and pierced his left eye and face when he was bitten on the head. His previous owner said the attack had occurred two weeks prior and that they had expected Cody to die in the backyard, and they left him there to roam and pass away on his own. When he managed to survive, they just wanted rid of him and agreed to let us rescue him. Cody triumphed, thanks to medical care we had provided for his infe...
