Martina leans her head on the people she trusts.  She is desperate for kindness and fearful that she will be hurt again. We don't know what Martina endured, but her flinching from fast hand movements (among other signs) suggests she has been deeply hurt and abused.  Martina is a Cocker Spaniel mix, 3 years young and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for a hero adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  She was at another shelter that asked for our help due to her severe timidity.

Deep in the desert, miles from any small towns, two men spotted Petey . He was terrified and running with nowhere to go. The men determined to catch and save him. It took an hour and they eventually won his trust and brought him to safety. Petey is an exceptionally gentle Cocker Spaniel & Toy mix, 6 years of age, good with other dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Nina , a warm-hearted and quiet-natured girl, asks for someone to love, forever.  She is a beautiful spirit, a Cocker Spaniel mix, spayed and 4 years of age, housetrained & crate-trained, good with dogs and mature kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Nina needed us due to her previous owner's hardship.

You may recall Joanie from earlier this year, a deaf young mother and her 5 newborns found abandoned in a vacated house.  Joanie , a small Border Collie and Cocker Spaniel mix, 2 years of age, is now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Her babies are doing beautifully and will remain in a loving foster home until they are ready for their spay/neuter surgeries.  Joanie is exceptionally kind and humble.  Please use consistent hand signals and other body language to communicate with her, as well as take thorough safety precautions for her throughout your home and yard.  Please share this angel's pictures to help her find a forever home.
