Jan, Marsha, and Cindy

Image
Jan , Marsha , and Cindy -- baby Brahma girls ("pullets"/baby hens) -- were found in distress on a street with their mother missing.  The girls are just two weeks of age. They need a home where they will always be respected and safe, for life.  We strongly prefer keeping the sisters together for lifelong companionship.  If you can provide a forever home for them, please visit Nevada SPCA and ask for Janean.

Cindy , so desperate for kindness and peace-of-mind, is ready to bloom. Burdened with despair and confusion, she walks slowly and hangs her head to the ground. But sit close to her and talk sweet, and soon she will lift her chin and accept your touch. Cindy is a Labrador Retriever with tremendous loving potential. She is 6 years of age, spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    Cindy is 1 of 18 animals we have rescued so far from a defunct animal organization and her background is otherwise unknown. Please share Cindy's picture to help find her a lifelong hero.

Cindy loves kids so much that she instantly forgives them. But her previous owners worried the kids were throwing her and could severely injure her.  We'd love to find Cindy a home with a gentle child who would treasure her devotion and companionship for life.  Cindy is a junior kitten, just 8 months of age, spayed, good with other cats, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home for her safety.

Cindy, Jan, Marsha Cindy Jan Marsha Cindy , Jan , and Marsha are delightful junior puppies debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  They are Yorkshire Terriers, 9 months of age, and now spayed.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety. The girls were surrendered by a breeder who was busted for breeding without a permit.  All three are remarkably sweet and good-natured.  Please budget appropriately for regular professional grooming for life.

Heroes exist, but is there one for me?

We look forward to the day when Cindy holds her head high with confidence and peace-of-mind.  But she doesn't yet know she is safe, though we suspect she is beginning to understand we will never hurt her.  Cindy is an exceptionally shy and gentle Heeler mix (Australian Cattle Dog mix), about 4 years of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. She is terrific with other dogs, so a big brother or big sister dog would help her adjust.  At the time of rescue Cindy was found on the Vegas streets with no self-esteem and no sign whatsoever of responsible ownership (no ID tag, no microchip ID, not spayed).  Please help us find Cindy a hero.
