Wonderful update on Johnnie (now Chip)!

Image
Thank you to Angie, his mom, for this great update and pictures: "We are so very lucky to have welcomed this spirited puppy into our lives. He is adjusting quite well, even has his favorite spot on the couch and has struck up a daily game of chase with the cats (who are learning to tolerate him). People keep telling us he's lucky to have us, but we are the lucky ones to have him."

Chip , a beaming little ball of sunshine, wants to love someone with all of his heart.  He is a Maltese mix, 6 years of age, neutered boy, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Chip was at another shelter that asked for our help due to a growth on his hip. We had the growth removed and he recovered beautifully.  Please visit and ask for Chip by name.

Chip loves being held and reassured.  He wants someone to love, and to be loved and forever safe in return.  Chip is a tiny, 7-pound Longhair Chihuahua mix, 1 year young, neutered boy, good with other dogs and housetrained, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Chip was at another shelter that asked for our help.  He was born with a cleft palate.  Thanks to generous donors to our advance care fund, we had surgery provided for repair of part of his cleft and he can eat & drink without problems.  (The area under his nostrils was not able to be repaired.)  Please help find someone wonderful for Chip .

Alessandra, baby girl Aaron, baby boy Chip, baby boy Aaron , Alessandra , and Chip are 5-month-old rescued kittens ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. They are shy, but warm wonderfully to people who are kind and reassuring to them. They enjoy other cats and they are now spayed/neutered. Please carefully kitten-proof your home for their safety.

I am exceptionally well socialized and self-assured.

Update: Chip was adopted on July 15th! Chip's carefree demeanor and desire for attention and being held helps him particularly stand out. He is a young, mixed breed rabbit, about 11 months of age. He is neutered and ready for adoption. Chip also enjoys toys and shows great enthusiasm for his daily salads of veggies and greens. He is one of more than 60 rescued, spayed/neutered bunnies for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Please ask for him by name. Like all rabbits in our climate, he needs and deserves an indoor-only home for his safety where he will be a cherished member of the family.

I want to live indoors only and be a member of the family.

Update: Chip was adopted on November 6th! Chip is an exceptionally playful, innocent, and sweet kitten available for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He is a medium-hair orange tabby with stunning markings and a cute pink nose. He is neutered and about 6 months of age. Chip is one of the kittens who was rescued along with his calico mother, Miss Prissy. ( Click here to see and read about his mom .) All of Nevada SPCA's 200 cats require strictly indoor-only homes for their safety and protection. The dangers to cats outdoors are immense, including vehicles, bikes, disease, dogs, coyotes, accidental poisoning, intentional poisoning, birds of prey, and sadistic humans. Please visit and ask for Chip by name if you are 100% committed to making him a member of your family and keeping him safely inside your home at all times.
