Pinky , 14, a tiny little treasure, offers enormous love and gratitude for a hero. Pinky is a dainty, humble girl, a Chihuahua, housetrained & crate-trained, good with dogs and kids, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    Her previous owner surrendered her due to financial hardship.

Jenna , a precious baby girl, saved from peril and now healed, triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA and she is ready to bless the world with her love. Jenna is an affectionate puppy, a Toy Fox Terrier & Chihuahua mix, 5 months of age and now spayed. At the time of rescue she was suffering from the life-threatening parvo virus. We rushed Jenna into emergency care at an animal hospital. Thanks to very generous donors, we were able to have extensive treatment provided for her and veterinarians succeeded in saving Jenna's life.

Talk sweet and tell Dingle he's a cutie and watch his face light up with joy! Dingle is a handsome boy, a blend of Miniature Pinscher & Chihuahua, 4 years of age and neutered, crate-trained, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    Dingle needs a home without young children please (he fears them for reasons unknown).    He needed us when his previous owner abandoned Dingle with a friend and then refused him.

"Don't underestimate my intense love." Martha , 12, a gentle soul, asks for a hero.    She is a Chihuahua, good with cats & dogs & kids, housetrained, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    Martha needed us when her previous owners moved away without her.

"Let me cherish you with more love and gratitude than you can imagine." Benjamin overflows with hope for a hero he can count on forever.    He likes smiling at kind people, napping with other dogs, and standing in wading pools while feeling summer breezes.    He is an attractive Chihuahua, 6 years of age and neutered, housetrained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Mr. Burns , 17, blind, weighing only 4 pounds, politely asks for your consideration. Kind, gentle hands help him feel secure.    He is a Chihuahua, good with other dogs, neutered, and ready for a hero adoption at Nevada SPCA .    Mr. Burns was at another shelter that asked for our help after he was found abandoned on the streets.

Zorro , 12, a humble little gentleman, wonders if you will consider accepting his love.  He is an earnest sweetheart, a plump & tiny Chihuahua, neutered, good with dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Zorro was needed us when his previous owners moved away without him.

"Can people see all of the good in me?" Bubbles , 9, longingly looks at each kind person she meets, full of hope they will accept her unconditional devotion.    She is a petite, tri-color Chihuahua, good with other dogs, shy, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    We rescued Bubbles from another shelter that asked for our help due to her timidity with strangers.

Dream Weaver fears human hands, but if you sit on the floor he will sneak into your lap and snuggle against your belly to feel safe. He wants you to talk sweet, but not pet him. Dream Weaver pleads for a hero. We rescued him from another shelter and we don't know the extent of what he endured in a previous home.    He is a Chihuahua with distinct eye coloring (pink skin around his left eye and charcoal skin around his right eye), 2 years young and neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Reese is blooming and making good progress.  He still fears human hands, but if you kneel down he now jumps into your lap and looks up into your eyes with hope.  Reese is a petite Chihuahua, 4 years of age and neutered, housetrained, good with other dogs, and awaiting a hero adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Please give Reese consideration if you have an adult-only home.

Mickey , 10, is an emotional boy desperate for praise and reassurance.  He is a 6-pound sweetheart, a Chihuahua, neutered, crate-trained, good with dogs and older kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Mickey's right ear was maimed in multiple locations (from unknown traumas). He is timid with strangers and seems to have endured an enormous amount of hardship at times in his life.  Please adopt Mickey and show him the comfort and peace-of-mind that comes with a compassionate forever home.

Rhys , 9, needed us when his owner passed away. His broken heart is slowly mending with canine companionship and reassuring attention from volunteers and staff.    Rhys is a tiny, plump Chihuahua, neutered, good with dogs, pad trained, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Rhys reportedly endured horrors in a laboratory prior to his rescue by his previous owner. We don't have any concrete details, but Rhys was exploited for experimentation of some kind. This is believed to be the reason for his extreme fear of being picked up, which causes him to scream and pant and panic. Rhys needs someone committed to understanding him and being patient with his emotional needs.    Please help find him a gentle hero.

Donald , Douglas , and Daphne , and their four siblings, need loving foster homes please!    These seven babies just arrived and we'd love to have all of them in gentle home environments today for socialization and nurturing care. If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person. The babies are reportedly Chihuahua & Miniature Pinscher mixes, about 7 weeks of age. Their mother is now safe too. Mom and babies were reportedly in a dreadful, loveless home.

March 14 March 14 December 23 Bambi was rescued right before Christmas. Known then as "Pippi", she was pregnant and only days away from giving birth. We put out an emergency plea for a foster hero and a wonderful veterinary technician named Julie stepped forward for her. Bambi birthed and raised her three babies in Julie's nurturing home. (Her babies remain in foster care for a bit longer for their spay/neuter surgeries.) Bambi loves squeaky toys, leaping up steps, and bonding with cats, dogs, and people.    She is a tiny girl with enormous charm, a Chihuahua, 1 year of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .

Fender's favorite things include sitting in laps, napping in the sun, and playing fetch with his toys.  He is an earnest, lovable youngster, a Chihuahua with a pronounced underbite, 3 years of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Fender is good with dogs and older kids and housetrained & crate-trained.

Butch , now well and lifting his head high with hope, eagerly awaits someone he can love and count on forever.    He is an adorable youngster, a blend of Chihuahua & Miniature Pinscher, 1 year of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA . ** Caution to sensitive readers ** At the time of rescue Butch was found dying in a box that had been discarded in a park. He was suffering from parvo virus. We rushed him to an emergency animal hospital and it's veterinarians were able to save his life with extensive advanced care.    Thank you to the generous donors who made Butch's lifesaving treatment possible.

Bumble Bee , 12, no longer suffers and looks to people with great hope and adoration.    She is a tiny girl, a Chihuahua, spayed, good with dogs and older kids, housetrained, and triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . Bumble Bee was left behind by her previous owners who moved away without her and left her in horrific condition. She had an eye ulcer, a hernia, extreme dental decay, and nostrils crusted shut. She is now healed and ready to love. During her dental care, 19 of her teeth had to be extracted. Surgery was also required to reopen her nostrils so she could begin breathing through her nose instead of just her mouth. Thank you very much to the donors for advanced veterinary care who made all of her important help possible. Chuck beams when he knows you approve of him.  He is housetrained, crate-trained, and good with other sweet dogs.  Chuck is a cute Chihuahua, 4 years of age and neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  He wants to be indoors as much as possible and relishes leisurely time in his dog bed.  Chuck needed us due to no fault of his own (his previous owner's psychological hardship).

Batman , 12, so tiny at just 3 pounds, is a gentle lovebug who needs a home please.  He is a Chihuahua, good with other dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Batman was at another shelter that asked for our help and we had dental care provided for him. Many of his teeth are gone and his tongue often hangs out of his mouth a bit, as in this picture.  Please help find a hero for Batman .

Sweetie Pie is deeply grateful for all kindness. She is humble and she takes nothing for granted.  Sweetie Pie is a precious Chihuahua & Italian Greyhound mix, 7 years of age and spayed, housetrained, good with other dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Sweetie Pie cannot comprehend why she is homeless (due to her previous owners having "no time for her").  Please help find her a stable, lifelong home where she will be cherished.
